okay.. so now i found out that my n82 had a noticeable free memory 'leak' while idling... last time it was 92MB but now only 87MB.. no other processes running...
got anything for me to delete? im new to s60.. sifu come2 help me...

Erm.. When we received sms, N82 only show '1 message receive' but with 5610 or SE hp, it will show '1 message received from "somebody". My brother used 5610 so I know this feature available. If I'm not mistaken, this option under display for 5610..

Ok.. thanks for that info. I thought symbian should had more advantage in the feature.. Nokia also doesn't have sms count..

you need to enable the option to see hidden processes, cos there are a lot of them that are running in the background which is hidden due to system restriction(normally used by the OS itself)

by the way guys... izzit that symbian s60 doesn't have smiley for messaging?? I cant seem to find one and cant even fully received one if a smiley is sent to me.. hmmm

hahahhaha... if touch screen can be used juz by updating the firmware.. alot of touch screen phones already!! hahaha..
FYI, touch screen requires hardware too!!
Added on March 26, 2009, 12:36 pmanyway guys... i wanna ask original housing for n82 is approximately how much? I wanna change mine as there's scratches here and there... btw, the housing only the front and back? Does nt include the side bar there such as camera button/volume buttons?

Original housing is one set: front and back. I think also include the silver camera part. I remember cost about RM250-350+
Side bar button, not sure. Anyone who changed before can contribute ?
