When rally, happy to hold stocks. When drop, really depressing.
Half my money in stocks at the moment. So whether rally or drop, I'm half happy, half sad..... |

QUOTE(viper88 @ Mar 7 2009, 05:00 PM) Here are some old links about Zelan and MMC. Thx for the link. I'm was lucky that I decided not to buy ZELAN because I got "gorenged" by LCL. I feel that what happened to LCL might just happen to ZELAN. However, once the price stabilize, I will get some ZELAN too. Maybe when the market is more bullish...... http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/v5/newsb...s.php?id=376133 http://www.mmc.com.my/content.asp?menuid=1...003&PressId=108 http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn62...ag=content;col1 http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn62...ag=content;col1 Zelan 2008 report [attachmentid=834506] Its profit lost in shares value is -14.15 sen for end of year 2008 but its current price get bashed up very badly. Based on Zelan current price, with its current order book, IJM shares + cash + assests worth.. buying zelan is like getting it for free as its current price is very close to its IJM shares value. When IJM shares goes up or construction profits in the future , Zelan shares will also go up. Need to see what is Zelan next strong support lvl and selling pressure over... currently things is still messy. This post has been edited by kmarc: Mar 7 2009, 08:28 PM |

First, the unexpected BNM rate cut, then this unexpected large amount for the 2nd stimulus package.......
The government still doesn't think their rakyat knows what is going on...... indirectly, they are finally saying our economy is going to get worse! Is it true that such a huge budget deficit is also not good for Malaysia? Something like de-rating and weaker ringgit? |

Looks like the prediction by some research houses were correct. Dow has hit a new low..... KLSE will be following soon......
I think it is best to keep our bullets for now..... |

QUOTE(eltaria @ Mar 12 2009, 03:56 PM) Yeah, me too....LCL is the worst counter for me. However, as long as it doesn't do anything funny, I don't mind holding it for long term. Financials have fallen, next on the list are plantation stocks...... not my opinion, just another prediction by research houses....... Hmmmm.... I never thought I'd see the day that Maybank drops to below RM4...... definitely will grab some in the near future..... |

QUOTE(edwin32us @ Mar 15 2009, 11:51 AM) The EDGE rating for LCL to Trading Buy because they just got a contract of RM 103 million for San Marina Bay in Singapore. That's good cause I'm it's long term investor..... No wonder they was a sudden boost for LCL on Friday. If market drops again this week, thinking of buying a bit of stocks.... what about you guys? |

QUOTE(Soulsareworthless @ Mar 15 2009, 11:48 PM) Genting looks attractive too for long-term investment but I think there are no good news for the short term.... can probably wait some more....As always, not to recommend anything as stocks are so unpredictable.... can just shoot up anytime.... |

QUOTE(Junior83 @ Mar 16 2009, 01:32 PM) If resort manage to get back 1.93, then selling pressure might end and mark of btm, else...still on the way to Holland Wow! RESORT at 1.85! Based on what Cherroy said regarding RESORT, that would probably mean that for now, it has more potential to go down rather than up...... gonna wait for it to go down by about 20-25% of my ABP before I go in again.....This post has been edited by kmarc: Mar 16 2009, 01:57 PM |

QUOTE(chyaw @ Mar 17 2009, 05:25 PM) Kinstel should be a good buy at current price. I think steel counters can shoot up significantly when steel demand move up as they have write off so much inventories. These inventories is only paper write off, so when demand comes, these inventories can be sell at normal price. The only problem is the demand must be strong enough to clear off all the inventories and current supplies... Yeah, it won't shoot up anytime soon but will definitely go up once demand picks up......QUOTE(aurora97 @ Mar 17 2009, 05:36 PM) Everyday Skydiving TMI u still dare to jump it... Since it has already lost 1/3 it's value recently, I thought I just buy in a small amount and can still average down if it falls further.btw they r getting their approval for their right issue might want to know the result. why not wait until after the right issue i believe there is more lows to come ... Itchy hands la..... no cure.... This post has been edited by kmarc: Mar 17 2009, 05:46 PM |

QUOTE(mo_meng @ Mar 18 2009, 10:36 AM) I think now is the time to buy in stages as you don't really know what will happen after this. Market sentiments seems to be improving..... could this be the road to recovery?Edit : Don't forget to keep some bullets just in case it goes the other way....
