My grass got all these problems...

4th pic - Overgrown on the edges
Can anyone advise me what is the problem n what sud i do on it.
Thinking of cutting it short n evenly n let it grow again...but doubt this will work ( i mean to cut it short evenly )...

MMM..lack of sunlight...i can say that my lawn is evenly expose to sunlight wor...
I have doubt anyone go to dig that...could it be any insect or sort ....
Cutting the edge will expose the non-green part of the grass, i have don this before infact and when it grow back,same things happen..  

U mean create a gap between the grass and pavement rite?? so we will see a gap of soil between the pavement and grass and let the grass grow to cover up the gap???

Always cut no more than 1/3 of the grass height. U cut short then the soil will be more exposed to sun's heat and soil will dry faster.

Not a good idea unless you live in cold climate country. How about showing us your grass.

I have some weed problem with my grass, this type, which is very annoying, it is hard to pull them out with the roots because it really snap easily halfway if I pull it too hard, I tried loosen up the soil and pull it, but it is like hydra, I pull one out, it grow back in bigger numbers few days later, and it grow mighty fast and outgrown my grass overnight, help?

The issue is that the black seed is almost not exactly below the weed. The weed sprout out after the roots move horizontaly until it finds a gap in the carpet grass layer. Agree on the continous pulling until the grass is tight and crowd out the weeds.

Twice in 2 weeks is a lot. Should be every 35 days. Putting too much fertlizer will speed the growth and the old/dead leaves/rhizomes, roots no time to melt in the soil.

Watering should be done infrequent but deep. Daily watering is only for newly laid grass. Watering everyday will make the roots shallow because they can find water easily. You need a deep root system for the grass to be strong.

Water only in early morning, watering in the evening will lead to disease especially fungus problems cos the grass is kept moist too long. I talked to a pro landscaper which maintains the turf grass at Saujana Golf and Country Club. He said that a good carpet grass is one that is slightly dry. Not moist and certainly not water logged.

Currently ongoing grass laying at my house compound:

Found the batik variety of bucida tree. The shop said it is smaller n small roots compared to the green. Rm280 at one shop. Another shop cheaper  rm250 but tree not straight.

Still deciding to purchase or not. Thinking of putting on my garden.

Any grass with maintenance free? I think just waste of time liao every 2 weeks need cutting grass
