Thinking of fake grass.. sooo lazy to maintain.. huhu...

3X water a day at the first week as the root of the grass havent ikat to the existing sand+soil, I did as what he told, now my grass all fit fit and firm, never ever put any fertilizer up to now

icic, I water 3X for the first week only, after that 1X only, then there is a week I off for holiday, 7 days without watering them, come back still very green, just a bit dry, haha , yeah thats great feeling when you wake up n c the natural green~

can someone tell me where to get this systetic grass?

what type of garden hose do you guys use ?

good branded one costing 120 to 200 for 20 meters

or those normal non branded one sold in giant/carrefour ?

will check it out.. most pipe under sun after some time will like become brittle...

another thing bout those pipe is, can bend and get jammed up not like those pipe that cannot bend and collapse and jammed

Hi there, i have been a lazy person as well when come to the garden. I have to take care of my parents house's garden (which is mostly all my plants) and now i have lawn to water for my own. Sometimes, it is worth spending < RM200 for a water timer to help. I invested my 1st water timer, a company from PJ. I used it for 6 months and the LCD screen went blank and servicing is not up to what i needed. Then, i did a survey and asked my connection and found a reliable one. Round water timer, light grey in color. pretty good and serves for outdoor. Some of my friends have been using their products for 3 years and still working well! they have a website you can refer. www.hydromateirrigation.com. I even found some other types of timers out there but many of them are not for outdoor because of transparent cover and you know our weather, direct sunlight will spoil the LCD. .

phew... lucky me. now i dont have to stay back holding my garden hose for close to 1 hr after my work hours.. man, that is actually my free time with family.

I'm getting conflicting remarks from people. Some tell me plant closer some tell me give gap 3"..some tell me give gap 6". Those who tell me to increase spacing is because can save on grass and not let the grass overlap each other when they grow thus causing bumps or uneven growth. What the hell...i just plant lah...the grass knows how to grow.

If you have dogs its even worst, our philippine grass is having brown patches of dead grass due to dog urine. Read online, that this type of grass supposed to be resistant to dog urine. Probably will go for fake grass for other areas.

It already died, withered and became brown after contact with dog urine due to the very high nitrogen content. So now keep watering twice a day and try to restrict the dog from going to the grass. Luckily we decided to do it part by part, else would have wasted money and energy.

Yours is after 3 months right? Mine is like 1 whole grass patch which I recently planted had died, to test, I took it out and put at another spot and keep watering for 3 weeks to see if I can see any green shoots coming out, but nothing
