I plan to plant carpet grass in my new house n my father in law who is a farmer volunteerd to plan for me n also fix the irrigation system for me. He got his grass from his friend house ( donated by his friend) . I also got few more pieces of japanese grass SOD due to insufficiency.

Pls comment if this way if planting method works? ( photo attached)

May i know how fast can these grass grow to cover up the whole land( expose under full sun light n water daily)

I recently got a landscaper to plant trees and Japanese carpet grass at my house..

Roughly 3 weeks later, he came and put fertilizer but all of the grass turn brown soon after, any idea what is going on? It seems like the grass is dying and its full of centipede now.

Where do you actually buy weed killer? Weeds are starting to overwhelm my grass lawn and I need to kill them before it's too late. MPSP already destroyed my carpet grass outside by spraying weed killer that killed everything. I need something that only kill broad-leaves and not the grass. Thanks.

hi, i'm from kuching sarawak. yeah most probably diy is my best option. But too much construction leftover cement on my backyard that need to be remove   

Sharing some of my DIY lawn works with phillipine grass.
It took 6 months to cover the whole lawn starting with small patches. Lots of weeding work and still have weed to take care til now. Those weed with "bulb" type root is pesky to remove  .
The end results still doesnt look good. Now having problem with brown spots around. Maybe the grass grow too long and the grass cutter cut too short. I cut every month.

Lawn grub will destroy the grass bed by eating the roots. Not those good guy worm

I live in JB and a nursery quoted me RM8 ( 2' x 1' ft) for Japanese grass. Is the price reasonable?

I saw the previous post whereby someone get it from Sg Buloh for RM2 per sft.
