I would say dark knight ftw , but inception is pretty close.

Inception feels alot like eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and matrix which questions about reality. I didnt like the part where they always had to do a slow mo shot of the crew in the van falling down the bridge and shifting scenes to the other dreams. Doing once is ok, doing multiple times is very annoying and thats my main gripe with this movie.

I love the gravity shifting part and zero gravity.

Aeroplane was most probably real unless you support the theory that Mal was right all along.

Level 1 - Van
Level 2 - Hotel
Level 3 - Snowy area
Level 4 - Cobb's world

Yea there are 4 levels. This movie have alot of hidden meaning.

It tells us our brain is like a paradox, we can twist and turn anything and when we planted an idea we can do just anything.

IMO, this movie is amazing. Yes, there some flaws here and there but it still living up to my expectation. I was prepared to be blown away at the end of the movie and usually it didn't happen but this movie got me, damn it. LOL.
Recommended movie for every fan of mind-F'ing-twisting movies.

Added on July 17, 2010, 8:50 pmp/s: and I must confess that I don't fully understand the whole movie especially the ending.

I think we have to do the pool. "How many times we need to watch this movie to fully understand the whole movie" lol

i think the meaning was to show the different speed of time in each level of dream

yea, they were literally fighting on the wall, ceiling and tumbling here and there...

The final shot shows his totem, in mid-spin, beginning to wobble. The scene then cuts to black, leaving it up the viewer to decide if it's a dream or reality.

The slow mo shot of the van wasnt a stylized option but rather done deliberately to keep track on what was happening across 4 levels. If that scene ended in 3 secs than the audience will have a hard time connecting the sequence of events that was happening across all 4 levels - which was obviously longer than 3 secs. The slow mo also reminds us that time in level one was moving ever so slowly compared to subsequent levels. It also act as a ticking clock that sets the film off to its climax as it signals to the team to quicken their pace. The redirection of scenes between each level was also crucial to show the audience what was happening in each level. Altering the shifting of the scenes would require a totally different plot altogether.

Yea the slow mo was to keep track all 4 levels because remember when they all wake up all together. Because actually everything is happen at the same time but with the chemist help they able to slow down the time when they are jumping deeper into levels.

Just saw it. A very good movie and i absolutely love the soundtrack. It's what made the movie that much better, if you ask me.

Don't think so. Remember. At the beginning he used the totem after the first mission.

Yeah. It's meant to let the viewers decide if Cobb did manage to get back in the end or not.

I watched it this afternoon too. Where you watch?

It had the same mindf**k feel as The Matrix, I'll give it that.
