QUOTE(blinky @ Jul 16 2009, 11:05 AM) Really, learn how to read the replies following that quote first please. I already said it depends on the manufacturer and the brand. Resistive = double click Capacitive = 1 click See how you made others confuse and came to a wrong conclusion from the reply above? In actual fact, capacitive can also be 2 click and resistive can also be 1 click if the "software" vendor want it be. Not brand or manufacturer. Of course you can still argue that the closed system OS is from the manufacturer itself. This post has been edited by chtan: Jul 16 2009, 03:39 PM

In case you didn't realise, Symbian S60 on a Samsung is slightly different from a Nokia.

Dude u really are misleading others. We are talking about capacitative and resistive tech NOT how many times u need to click duh Added on July 16, 2009, 7:14 pmQUOTE(-kytz- @ Jul 16 2009, 02:38 PM) Wrong Resistive- apply pressure to register click. Capacitative- no need pressure.Once your finger touches the screen, a click is registered. Single or double click depends on the OS or the phone itself. Refer to this please This post has been edited by -kytz-: Jul 16 2009, 07:14 PM

Someone asked about the difference, I said one is pressure-based whereas the other is more sensitive. I went ahead to say that some resistive screens require 2 clicks, BUT I also added that this feature depends on different phones and different brands. Is this good enough? Quote from: http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Samsung-OM...r_2148-p_6.html"nfortunately we are disappointed with the sound quality during talks. Either is able to hear the other one loud and clear, but the voice with the Samsung OMNIA HD i8910 is monotonous and reverberating, as if the other person is in a tunnel or a bathroom. On the other hand, even if you lower the loudness, the effect is still clearly discernible and makes people´s voice sound unpleasantly sharp." I hope Samsung will fix above issue before launch it here...

Me too starting to have second thought for Omnia HD now... Considering Iphone 3GS 32GB is selling around 2.8k, which is about the same price for Omnia HD. I'm now in between best UI or better Hardward/Cam...
