well i actually got it posted to me from a seller from johor. I sent back the unit to ask for a replacement right after i found a few stuck pixels( that is right out of the box). The second unit he sent was even worse!!! Then i sent back for a refund agreeing on rm100 compensation to the seller.
As a matter of fact I am not alone in this case, try checking the first omnia forum in PPCSG and U will find numerous users complaining about the same thing. Or you may try to google around n see for yourself the complaints posted by users worldwide. But so far I havent heard anyone complaining about omnia II. But i remain skeptical over this issue. Its either samsung has been able to "perfected" the amoled screen or some users dont even bother to check. But someone (I cant remember whether its lowyat or PPCSG) said that her unit has a small little 'box-like) kind of dot on the screen. She claimed it to be minor but for someone as fussy as me, its a big issue. I dun know how true it is. My personal advice, check the screen before buying. Check it with white colour background for dead pixel and black colour background for stuck pixel. YOu can also use different colours to check for different type of stuck pixel. All the best guys! QUOTE(dannygeni @ Aug 28 2009, 02:40 PM) Danny is a good seller. Just got my omnia 2 from him. Good price n very good service. He even followed up on me after the sale. So I'd say its good after sale service. Very honest and friendly. Highly recommended seller. |
