Can I noe how wat is ur bike speed?coz i'm using quando hubs and i would like to upgrade to 9 speed, so i wonder can i jz fit in a deore cogs.

quando is just a brand, you might say its a quando but it might be totally diffrent than what i have....

a simple question, what is the current number of gears on ur bike?

if its 8/9 then its compatible with 9spd, if it 7 or below then it ain't compatible lol...

how come mate? upgrading?

actually, downgrading due to money constrain... getting a hardtail back and using the rest of the money for something else.. was planning to stop riding but then, I JUST CANT!! lol.. love going down a drop even though i know that i will fall badly.. it is just too addictive to stop.. so,my solution is sell my frame, get a hardtail so that i can still enjoy riding..

was wandering do u have any solution using reducer cup with a 1.5 headset?

you can actually, but you have to make a new compression ring for it.. but that route is much more expansive than buying a reducer cup + 1 1/8 headset.. plus.. 1 1/8 is abundant and you have much more broad choice of headsets


naa.. im not quitting, just going back to hardtail.. gonna lay back till i finish my studies n get a job before ill go hardcore on the bike parts lists..hehehe..

by all means im still riding dude.. I WILL NEVER QUIT riding.. dislocated my shoulder, cracked my coller bone.. if i were a normal people, that 2 reason will absolutely make them quit riding straight away.. not to mention the constant "tanning" that i get..lol

FYI,i change my tyres from 2.5 Kenda (front) & 2.3 Highroller (rear) with a pair of Minion DHR 2.3...

nope.. you have to MAKE ONE as in custom made..why is it more expansive? cause you basicly have to make 2 sets of things in order to make this setup work..one is a reducer, and one is a compression ring for the headset.. machining parts is not cheap and if you get the dimension wrong, it will actually put yourself on harms way..

da bomb headset is one example of a headset than can be used for 1.5 and 1 1/8inch steerer tube.. i think kota kemuning has it the last time i went there..take a look at it.. that is how you want your headset setup to be..


yerp.. just got it last year before KLD 08, not selling edy cause of money constrain... the frame price is negotiable..anyone that is interested can PM me...

u really don't need 2.7

heavy.

2.5 is big enough. but now mostly running on 2.35 tires. light, grippy & big enough.
