QUOTE(huh? @ Feb 9 2009, 01:08 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « you were there? wow..huhu.. which one is you? lol im the slowest rider there guys!!.. definitely shows that not riding for a freaking long time takes a toll on me..hahaha.. fell twice at the race.. once at practice, and one at the road gap... its definitely a freaking tight trail, with lots of off chamber turns, drops into turns, freaking long pedalling section and not for getting the super looooooosssseeeee track..hahaha.. had fun during the weekend at johor.. definitely going there again.. now need to recover from the "nangka busuk" crash and more XC for me definitely.. not enough stamina to get trough the trail guys..huhuhu owh ya... my fork bengkok abit, but still ridable.. and there was two people including zure that broke their hand KDD5 was wet n wild.. JB race is dry and dusty.. hehehe QUOTE(kai5183 @ Feb 9 2009, 04:53 PM) i order my new xt disk brake which coming at the end of this month. u interest on my deore hydro brake (1 month plus)? pricing wait till i got my new stuff can? end of da month might b too late as im want to use it for the BC race..bt do sent me a pict bro.. ty QUOTE(ober @ Feb 9 2009, 04:59 PM) thanks for the piccies voivod! hei bro..glad to meet you! and thanks also for the pic me in tights. haha. been waiting for that. muwahaha. QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Feb 9 2009, 06:37 PM) for MTB, accidents happen because of their own action, so crashes can be controlled by not riding too hardcore etc.... getting ur new frame?but for roadies, accidents are usually freak accidents. eg. car coming towards you after a blind corner, rempits, holes on the road at night etc~ its up to you to decide which is more dangerous... QUOTE(DataWraith @ Feb 11 2009, 05:34 PM) Since we are in the topic on wheelsets. I too am shopping around for 1 set. Currently already shortlisted the components. I do have 1 question though regarding choosing the right rim. They've got 32 hole & 36 hole options. Base on what criteria should I choose? Does it mean if you buy 36h rim, you'll need to buy hub with 36 holes? May seem straight forward but I'm a dummy when it comes to these components. like wat they said already..So moorish, what components have you narrowed down for your new wheelset? There's a brand new XT wheelset at BBS. 36 hole rims are more tougher...bt its really hard to get the hubs.. i kno coz i own a 36 Syncros BigBox rim for my DJ bike... Added on February 11, 2009, 8:47 pmneed a favor from any1 pls... if any1 of u r going to Samy LBS, could u check if he has da new DEORE brakes.... da ones dat look like a SLX brakes... i already found it at SA LBS bt the rear brake hose is rather short... ty in advance This post has been edited by monkey13: Feb 11 2009, 08:47 PM |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Feb 23 2009, 12:09 PM) Logically, SLX is the best choice but just considering what other alternatives are there out there.... 2009 Stylo is now revised with OCT (hollow ler tu) and ceramic bearings wor. da final chainring...hehehe...Also 2009 XT.. lighter by some grams. There's also a trekking version (48T but chainguard). They shud've changed the crankarm color [attachmentid=816142] This is 2008 XT... spot the difference? [attachmentid=816137] |

1.study da jump and plan ur landing..estimate da speed needed...
2.with lots of confident, jus jump...i suggest to jump straight for biginner... remember to lean back...bt dont lean to much as u might land on a wellie which is so unstable. depends on da distance actually... 3.keep knee close during landin and try to absorb as much impact as possible.... *pls wear proper safety apparel Added on February 26, 2009, 4:10 pmoh...b4 i forget... pls try not to chicken out on da last minute of a drop.. u might really injure urself...
