I heard that company employs more eletrical engineer guy rather than avionics guy.. Is that true?

So there is no such EE occur in avionics so far?

anyway one of my instructors was telling me that caa nz license holders can convert to dca msia license by just sitting the air legislation. is this still true? just in the event i want to work in msia sometime later down the road...

finish study -> take exam -> LAE
finish study -> technician -> LAE/Senior Tech
finish study -> tnm anggur

if u dun have heart in this field be prepared to take 5-8 years to become lae
usualy after miat u will never get the 1st path
usualy 2nd path

my fren~finish miat dec 2008,
feb take exam,
result pass on jun(1st take terus pass )
then take oral 5 times only on march 2010
pass lwtr(both writing and and oral lah)
but during technician period he already take type rating course
so on march he receive LAE salary which is 6k( he said SIKIT )
23 years old and 6k salary...IMAGINE that hehe~

so actualy its up to u on how u dec0rate ur path
so basicaly 3.5 years + 1.5 years to bec0me lae
and thats minimum

For Airlines in Mlsia, with some exceptions, if reach 6k must be doing lots of OT a month aka hangar your second home, everything comes with a price and that also if there's OT slots available...
