azameel,
Its their time!:P
But then again, how many vacancies for tech service?
other path? I guess there is none.
The high learning institution keeps churning out graduates with no/minimum demands in the industry.

What questions are they?
I heard 2 of the questions.
One, a hypothetical question about A380 having to do a wheel change with pax onboard,
and again with pax onboard, you have a u/s heat exchanger ( I presumed it's the airconditioning hest exchanger)..

For the first one, it's a deferrable defect, and normally is covered under MEL (Minimum Equipment List) but restrictions apply.

Wheel change, if it really warrant a change, delay the aircraft and change it... can't defer this one. PM or no PM onboard made no difference.. biggrin.gif

I have no clue about the highest grade of master.

There is a life on fire extinguisher bottles. 10 years or so. (am not sure.. )

QUOTE(JohnMax @ May 26 2010, 06:41 AM)
Haha, they is what my 2 friend get this questions with QA Supp.

One is you got PM on board, the aircraft no wonder what condition, it must fly also. You are the engineer and have one technician. The heat exchanger u/s and must change now. Your fishing rods also u/s. So how you gonna change the heat exchanger? My friend answer, by using baby crain, than he said, if baby crain also u/s and the technician go smoking, what you gonna do?

Same to A380 wheel change.

He asked me the standard room. Calibrate to master, what the highest grade of the master? This is I did't pay attention when at standard room....
And fire extinguisher bottle can be charged how many times?

Yes, its an insult. Basic pay still unrealistically low
Correct, only duty travel lah.. earlier still EY. Family still travel EY. How many times do you get to duty travel?
Of course, the reason why still stuck in 'graded staff category', the OT. Practically almost everyone live on OT, especially on PH! Sick also come crawling.. hehe
Gross income is good but slog like a dog, its ok when you're young wink.gif
Been there, done that! wink.gif

QUOTE(yique @ Jun 22 2010, 05:27 PM)
insult??? for the past 10 years, mas lae travels business class on duty, no longer eycl.   many prefer to stay as graded staff than becoming executive as they are paid overtime for excess hours.

JohnMax,
There's no difference as far as environment are concerned, its an MRO just like any MRO would operate.
The working 'culture' is more apt?

SAE is still (I think) in the process of getting a new owner. It has been going on for quite some time since last year. During this process, salary payments got hold up a few times and with no certain/definite future and directions, some of the staffs got fed up and walk off...

Great! But if those are supposedly DCA questions, be careful as some of the answers are grossly incorrect.
