HI!!! everyone..i just purchase HTC TP. >.< got few question..the TP i bought is a 2nd hand phone which is AT&T set...but i think it has been flash with a custome rom...The Question is how can i know it was flash with what or whose rom ? and if i do a hard reset ? will it revert back to the original Rom ? and will my GPS software Garmin XT be gone ? Please Advise!

hard-reset will only restore bak to the clean custom rom (if it is flashed with custom rom).

Garmin is installed on microsd. so go bak to microsd and run the autorun. it will install back.

n once again, hard-reset will clear everything but still bak to cleared custom rom.

Well , it wont make my phone unusable right ? it will just format the phone back to the original state of the custom rom ?

I also having the same problem... i thought sis would not entertain this minor problem..
If they will change it, i'll go for the warranty b4 it expired..

seems like this problem affects quite a lot eh? a design flaw perhaps?
mine too, certain keys are a bit insensitive, but i still can bear with it, just need to type slowly sometimes.

ANy Suggestion on custom rom ?

im using TAEL still.. loved it so much.. hopefully can try other rom when i got time..

Teal no video call right ? i just flash it to teal last night ...and cant seem to make my mms setting and gprd setting to work..using digi...

argh, swt.. forget to test video call. but GPRS / HSDPA works on my digi too..

how u do it ? u go to the digi website or u do manualy ? btw mine is HTC Fuze Which is AT&T set...dunno why when i use smsm to activate it say the setting not for my phone -.-":

click start->settings->connection->connection setup

select malaysia then digi.

soft reset. kau tim.

ppl owes complain pda got problem of data. i starts to use unlimited data since early last year. over 4-5 devices. all configured properly n no problem using this method.

Hi all...i just bought a new itech ioval 303 bluetooth headset to pair with my touch pro..why is it my TP didn't detect the headset? i tried to search bluetooth devices but still cant detect the headset...tq

erm.. u can try to use other phone to search if u not familiar with win mo..

but normally right, there is a special key assignment nid to enter to get the bluetooth headset into discovery mode. so that it can then search by touch pro.

but since the key assignment is totally difference for each device, i suggest u read back the manual to get it done.

if other phone can found it, winmo cant. then i oso no idea. but i tried to pair a few.. most bluetooth headset got auto discovery function. instead of on discovery on headset. i on it on winmo, then winmo will prompt me to add it.. lols

thanks for the reply...the manual stated '0000' as the code..but it always says 'no nearby bluetooth headset was found...nevertheless i try it first to pair it with wife nokia phone..thanks again

**edit** - my bad...i tried to reset to default according to manual...i restart it and to my surprise TP detect it within split second So case solved..

HTC Fuze tarak front camera, so video call or not, i don't think much different lor, at least its not really an issue for me la.
And remember to change keyboard layout to Fuze Keyboard thru Keyboard Slector in System Utilities folder, as if you're using TAEL rom onw.
Default TAEL rom keyboard layout is Touch Pro keyboard.

I'm on Fuze + TAEL rom, working fine with me.
And those mms/gprs setting, I thought on the 1st boot after flashing, it will auto detect?
I'm using Maxis.

yeah it auto detects. i'm on maxis too. when 1st boot, it'll ask in the config window, to choose maxis or maxis 3g. i personally go with maxis instead of 3g, and turn off all 3g data connections, so that my credit won't run out

yup.. 10 out of 10 devices i use.. first boot already setup.. but i dun noe why some ppl complain. so juz in case user complain, then tats the only way lor.. u wan them to go bak to 1st boot again meh? rite? haha..

probably i think is they thought the config havnt set. thus go n download the config here n there.. then messed up.. got that possibility though.

For TAEL rom user, what GPS software is u guys using ? does it run fast ? i think my last rom is from shep which it take awhile to detect the satelite
