IMO, custom ROM needs to update from time to time.
Biggest reason is to fix those minor bugs.

You can always use PIM Backup to backup all your Contacts, SMS'es, bla bla and so.
After flashed new ROM, and do a hard-reset, then you can use PIM Backup to restore back all the things you've backup'ed earlier on.

SPB 3.5 is not needed if you choose EnergyROM, cause I think the facial is fancy enough already you no need extra theme.
Extra theme will make your phone heavier and won't work smoothly.

As for other software, custom ROM, or cooked ROM has already pre-installed some useful software in it already.
If don't have, you can always visit xda-developer.
They have plenty software ready for you to discover.

About Garmin, I can't help you also cause I don't need it that's why I never kaji.

it happen to me once.. i also wondering what is that problem.. maybe the "slow response of device". I juz slide in and slide out for few time and it works like normal again.

Anyone can fully works without gps delay using wm 6.5.1 ? i using garmin xt. But it juz keep searching for satellite. I had no problem using wm 6.1

jz wonder is it harmless if i let my phone charge overnite?
cause sometime i am too tire to wait it fully charged....

Maybe the TS can add these tweaks to the front page. Its for the GPS.

A. With Advanced config 3.3

1. disable A-GPS
2. disable GPS logging
3. logfile name must be empty
4. old logfile name must be empty
5. maximum size of logfile must be 0
6. delete the files :
\windows\GPSLogFile.txt and \windows\GPSLogFileBack.txt

With those changes car usage will be quite perfect

B. Then edit registry with TotalCommander
Under: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\

Drivers\GpsOneDevice\PollInterval -> 100 (default is 1000)
Drivers\InputBufferSize -> 512 (default is 4096)
Drivers\OutputBufferSize -> 512 (default is 4096)
Drivers\SleepOnNoData -> 100 (default is 1000)
Multiplexer\MaxBufferSize -> 512 (by default not present, you have to create it)

Anyone have problem using operamini 4.2 in your touch pro? My operamini hangs with error
"jblend memory is dangerously low". It happen whenever i start to sync my bookmark via opera link. Using operamini without bookmark sync is fine. Anyone come across this?

Created a .cab file for the tweaks above and attached the Advance Config Tool v3.3 from Schaps (www.touchxperience.com) for your convenience. Just install the Advance Config.cab first and delete the 2 GPSlog files. Then install the GPS Tweak.cab for the rest of the registry tweaking.

Wanted to ask about Chinese characters thingy.
I'm using ZTA4 input and HTC Original Firmware extracted Chinese character viewing software.
The situation now is I'm able to read all the Chinese sms'es that sent to me.
But when I reply them back with Chinese, all they receive are bunch of "?????" only.
This happens when I sent the sms to SE phone.
Nokia ... so far haven't test.

What input do you all use?
I don't want CE-Star.

i have this weird problem with my tp now, suddenly the battery is draining super fast, it can go down to about 50% overnight :confuse:

is it a problem with my rom/radio? previous weeks when i flashed this rom it was ok..

Would like to share my Chinese fonts and input combination.
I found out it is quite neat, comparing to CE-Star.
I personally don't like CE-Star cause its too tiny for me already.

btw bro.. i tried that input on my xperia b4. the problem i found is it got stuck on this SIP on boot up.

like i set the default SIP using nueSIP to be touchinput. but once i soft-reset the device. the default SIP is owes this rhodium A4. dun noe wats wrong with this fella. lol..

I tested it for quite sometime already.
After I confirmed that there's no problem with Touch Pro, only I share with the public.

I'm using TALE Sense Edition as well currently.
1 thing I like about the ROM is because its clean/stock enough.
Unlike Energy, too fancy already and started to screw up already on recent release.
The chief didn't make sure everything is running nicely, he only release all the way only when got any new update.

k, is better to edit i think.

operationally no problem of caz.

but the problem i mean is, can u set another as default once u boot up. like im using nueSIP to set touch input as default SIP once start up. but once reboot, this SIP will still be using as default. i dun wan this input as default but another. i still found no other way so far..

yeah, agree with that. my first custom ROM was energy, at first it seemed ok, but then there were lots of advanced features which i didn't use, so now change to TAEL. before TAEL i was using some HD ROM..forgot the exact name..that was ok too, but too bad no Manila 2.5. Really like Manila 2.5!

anyone know how much is the replacement for the screen cost?

is anyone having the same problem as me with the qwerty keyboard?

at first, i have sent my tp to warranty as my qwerty keyboard is defect. The spacebar and the backspace key is not responsive as this before. Is either not respond at all or something it double the signal i enter. Eg: 1 click on spacebar but it give me double space.

after warranty, just use it about 4weeks, here it go again. same problem with the qwerty keyboard. So, is it really that easy to defect? o it just me?
