any nice roms that you guys suggest?
i'm browsing thru xda developers, cant decide yet which rom to choose

the problem is when i run the hardspl, it's gives out a usb connection error. how do i solve this? what do i need to do before running the hardspl?

nvm, it's ok, i figured out already. gotta copy the hardspl into the device and get it to start manually. now trying with energy rom

which of these do you guys think is better? screen protector or invisible shield? wanna get one of those for my touch pro

yeah i get that too, but not when i shake the device, just when sliding out the keyboard. is it some kinda spring or holding mechanism? was wondering too if it's a common thing for touch pro.
few of my friends used my phone, when they open, they heard the sound and thought they broke something inside

btw, the android thingy runs as another separate OS by itself? does it require installation?

i was in the same position before as you are now...haha..finally i got it for quite a good price, and i didn't regret at all, worth what i paid for. i wouldn't really say it's a business man's phone, depends how you use it also. for me it's all rounder. don't worry, sms-ing and entertainment is good on this phone

lol..not so sure about the xperia. never used it before. but for me of course i prefer the touch pro

is it? that's nice, been waiting quite some time for it already.

shouldn't be a problem. just reflash it to any ROM that you prefer.

yeah, it was kinda disappointing, was hoping the manila 2.5 update, wanna try the new features of manila 2.5.

energy is just a name of one of the roms created by the guys at xda-developers

just flashed with one of the roms with manila 2.5. looks awesome!
on the downside, it's a bit sluggish, maybe coz it's still in beta stage.

you can downgrade or upgrade between 6.1 and 6.5 anytime you like. just that those from xda-developers are third party or non-official roms, and those from htc.com are official, they're also called stock/basic roms.

is there any other dock for touch pro besides the original one by htc? for syncing and charging..

if not mistaken there was a forumer selling at garage sales. cant remember his/her name, try to search and see.

yeah, shouldn't be above RM2k. if above, might as well you get the newer HTC models rite? if you're really tight on budget, there're some members here who are selling their TP for quite a reasonable price. but that is if you dont mind using 2nd hand
i got mine 2nd hand too, so far really happy with it. it's nice, you get to customize it, install apps, work, play, and everything on your tp. this phone is quite an attraction outside too

yea it's SIS. i'm not sure, but bernardryan mentioned above that he got his tp with 2 years warranty. i think you can also extend the warranty, but of coz need to pay extra.
