im having problem playing dvd movies at 1080i via hdmi to DVI on my lcd monitor.
off/on upscale also same.. black screen. Unless i setp 720p only can work but not full screen. how i solve this problem??

throw away your pc monitor and buy a REAL HDTV.

yup cause maybe your pc lcd only HD ready but not Full HD support

which model of lcd u r using?

Added on February 10, 2009, 1:17 amTHX alot.. i'll test again later.. now downloading demos... using proxy method rocks.. too bad both my pc and ps3 using wifi connected to the router at downstairs only 30% streangth.. transfer also 100-200kbps only.. tomorrow gonna get a direct cable hook up to router haha..

Edit: Yeah it fixed my problem. coz lcd monitor wont accept interlace signal.. thx again.

is there any way to move your router upstairs? wifi signals get better reception when they are higher apparently.

if i move upstairs, everyone at up there will be hooray!! my housemate at downstairs will be DC'ed frequently and yelling..
later bring my router go up for a while.. see if its helps. Thx!
