Is Malaysia, Singapore, Japan sharing with HK Home?

I add a Magic Fan.. I clip it at the back of the PS3... USB powered. It sucks out the hot air 5X more than the normal PS3 fan does.

PS3 doesnt hv much overheating issues nor the PS3 is hot ay all.. warm only.. but u know it better cooler than warm

hmmm PS3 running where got cool...

will get warm... when i attach the fan... and when you put ur hands on the air out take it feels really warm..

funny tho... i setup my PS3 in its vertical fashion.. the back of the PS3 with all the other ports HDMI, Power port area feel warm.. (tats where i attact the fan) but at the top of the PS3 feels cool..

unlikely.... BUT dont forget we still hv that LENS problem.

make sure to put away ur Disc when not in use or powering down PS3.

Lately the PS3 seem to be sensitive, when i exit from demo games... it will hang.. already happen like 4 times... twice on my NFS demo.. so I deleted that and the other 2 from other Demo.. but only happened once...

I guess you need to exit your game at the standby screen where it doesnt use much memory when it reads.

the top vents that i was reffering is at the very top... but i guess it works the same way... as it is an air intake and blow it out at the back... where i place my fan which too sucks out the air the same air flow manner..

yes u need the latest firmware to log in.

juz downloaded RS5 Demo.. sometimes it keep crashing at the loading screen.. happens like 5 times on the same loading screen.. but still working.. importantly its not hardware... software can anytime do a format.

Anyways... I place my PS3 vertical, so less surface is covered and opened in the open air and hot air rises so it will flow out easily coz the top cover with the PS3 logo doesnt have vents.

Left my PS3 on for 2nights + downloading demos... nothing wrong... maybe coz I added a usb fan at the back of my PS3 and my room is cool with fan.. make sure u place ur PS3 in a well open area.

mkv not support must convert to other supported media, wmv, mpeg2, dvix etc... ofcoz the reso will still be supported 720 - 1080.

Hmmm maybe ur cable connection loose...

about lcd display.... im using HP w2408h, 24" HDMI, Full 1080p, Reso @ 1920 X1200 to make it full screen... if not theres letter box.

I realised, even tho u set it up to 1080p, your games will still run at 720p if it is a 720p game... and will upscale to 1080p or simply stretch it to your screen.

I even switch my lcd setting to '1 to 1' display.... 720p is really small!! But the games looks really really sharp... coz its not upscaled.

yup normal.... tats why certain games looks SUPER power and some not... sadly... not all games runs on 1080p...

crap i juz relized that PS3 is DVD region coded too... cant play R1...

my 5 yr old crappy dvd player plays all Region DVDs.. wonder why PS3 like that????

Thats local-no-name DVD player is urs... mine is a LG

with PS3 known for 'supercomputers' capabilities and packed with HDD.. I dont think there is any limit of saved users..

How long have you been doing this practice?? any issues so far??

HHmm... I hate to say this, but being PS3 and all.. theres so many issues and sensitivity practice with the PS3. Are we being all that 'too careful / kiasu' practice??

Coz I have an old 4yrs old Asus laptop.. nothing to be proud of.. left it on over night for at most a week, dvd inside or watever is inside, it drop a couple of times.. etc.. and till today works juz fine...

juz my 2cents.. what do u guys think?

didnt On my PS3 the whole day today.. got work to do.. giving it a nice day rest.

PS3 cannot fight PS1 & PS2 hardware man.... shame on you PS3!!
