let me give you a piece of advice. go work somewhere else first. gain experience. have passion in the field. I'm telling you, it is NOT easy to keep up with the pace in Experian if you are a fresh grad. yeah people wont tell you things like "you're not doing good" but in reality, you are dragging and slowing them down. it's only up to you to realise it or not and to accept it or not.

once you have a really strong base and deep enough knowledge in the field, then only you apply. another tip, most of those who come for the interview failed the most basic questions and a LOT of them have numbers in the years of experience.

that means years of experience cannot measure to the deep base of knowledge.... blink.gif

yes. possible. but being a QA, you need to know all those things about QA testing for example: black/white/grey box testing, performance, profiling and so on. better if you know how to do test automation.

I am feel not confident already after saw your all post ..plust my previous frens also failed in walk-in interview session. I am surprised Experian called me about it..

However, i need to do well prepare ...any suggestion for me ? my applied position is .NET developer... what kind of tests?

i got a friend's friend who joined in as management trainee at first, the test given to him was not really in technical, its more on IQ test, but now he's been transferred to Java development team. And he had almost zero knowledge in Java before joining this company, so, can it be deduced that the easier path to join Experian is via management trainee?

if your percentage is too far from the passing mark, chances are none.

Experian is an equal opportunity company which means anybody can come for the interview. it's just the matter that you pass or not. In terms of benefits, I can tell you that Experian currently is nearly unmatchable. That is why it's hard to pass the interviews. Only the best may join.

you can say that. but unless you really can pick up the pace, my personal opinion is not recommended for fresh graduates to join. Java training, yeah easy. but when it comes to the practical: you'll be thrown into the real 'battlefield' straight away. Then after about 3 months, it's left to your team lead to decide whether you get to stay or pack up your things and look for other job.

you score more than half, then you are on to the next interview.

it's been leaked quite a long time ago. but still, 2nd interview is about explaining the answers. sometimes you'll be asked questions that are similar but on different situations. there are some people that attempted the test (same set questions) more than once but still failed (the bad thing is, they scored lower than the 1st attempt LOL).

after seeing these posts, I am not sure whether I can handle the job well, I am not really a programmer person anyway, its just I have touched on .NET before. The good side of this company is the good environment, can wear smart casual for programmer team, and can go back before 6pm, from what I heard from friend's friend.
