for sure everton will play more defensive, just like they did to the kop.
for them, get 1 pt also like win a game.

MU don't waste their chance to score more goals

FIFA don't dare to give Vida more than a 1 match ban. He woulda have whooped them all up.

Interview: Eric Cantona, footballer and photographer

QUOTE
From the front row of Giorgio Armani's Haute Couture fashion show he spoke of his new career as a photographer. "I like to be fascinated by by the people I photograph," he said. "Sometimes I don't admire them but I'm interested in them. I'd like to do a dictator, I don't like them, but I'm interested in them."

It would be easy, he joked, to find a few in football today.

He also spoke of his undying love for United, where he retired from professional football in 1997. He was aghast when asked which team he supports 12 years after leaving the club. "I still support United and always will. I will die with them in my heart," he said.

And with a final flourish of insouciance he hinted at a return to the professional game as a manager. "I wouldn't go back at the moment, but maybe in the future. I'm just enjoying my life at the moment."

SOS

i like this part where he says:

Wayne Rooney will not figure although the striker is expected to return to action at West Ham a week on Sunday. Patrice Evra and Nani could also return next weekend, while Ferguson reports no fresh injury worries from Tuesday's 5-0 win at West Brom. Neither Rio Ferdinand nor Wes Brown have suffered any reaction to their comebacks while young Brazilian full-back Fabio is also in contention as United look to complete an unprecedented 12th top-flight clean sheet in a row.

===========================================================================

Everton could be without key midfielders Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini. Cahill injured his right foot in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal. Although X-rays have revealed only severe bruising and no break, he remains a doubt to face United. Fellaini injured a shin against the Gunners and manager David Moyes will not risk either player if there is any doubt.
from soccernet

IMO Moyes should rest both Fellaini and Cahill for the crucial merseyside fa cup derby next week ...

everton fans would glad to see that ...

I was expecting a 3-5 games ban for him. ManUtd player, elbow, happen in a final where the whole world watched, and FIFA being FIFA(Blatter, attention seeker), and not to mention UEFA, with the brainless Platini-I-hate-everthing-English as the new head.. it was only a matter of time. Quite surprised he only get a one game ban. Guess people really are scared of him. hmm.gif

Isn't it weird? For the first time after quiet a while. We haven't seen/heard anyone talking about buying/purchasing a player in January transfer Windows. Sign of our squad is depth enough? Well, we have strikers (Berbatov, Rooney/Tevez/Wellbeck/Manucho/Petrucci) We have a very wide oprions of midfielders (Giggs, Carrick, Anderson, Possebon, PJS, Ronaldo, Tosic, Scholes, Gibson) We have very good defenders (Rafael, Fabio, Neville, Evra, John O'shea, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evans) We have a veteran GK and backup, one GK willing to sit on the bench all the time and a very promising GK (VDS, PIG and Foster)

Our team have been complete for a while. Last season with the 4 big signings, we're set for the next 3+ years. With Rafael, Fabio emerging, and the Tosic signing, we're complete.. in term of numbers.

we no need to buy anybody for atleast 3/4 yrs as we have enough back up. Unless anybody willing to leave, that would be a scenario where we need to buy again players.
with current situation nobody goin to leave like last season i believe. as for Giggs, scholes and Gary, SAF already make a back in their position.

maybe thats because of a comfortable position that we are in now perhaps? secured our place in EPL currently, got through the FA Cup and CL, final in the Carling Cup.

the matter of signing new players always occur when a team is not performing well imo. not down looking against arsenal or manchester city, but obviously u can look at it urself
