They'll rotate a bit, with the number of games we'll have to play, that's the way to do it, but Rooney will start most of the games, unless his form is truly bad even after getting a run of games. Can do what Tevez does and more although nowadays his job is more on getting behind defences trying to get on the end of things and score rather than chase around after balls.

With almost everyone back, surely SAF will rotate here and there. Our form might suffer, not that it's been great so far. We're getting results but we haven't really played near anywhere near top form yet, defensive department aside. We still haven't used up all our gears. We know we can play far better, more ruthless in front of goal, but so far this season, only happens in a few games. That is why people are confident about of chances I guess.. with all the tougher away games(top 10 last season?) out of the way. But if we look at our last 5 games or so, they're all kinda hard.

QUOTE RIO Ferdinand has revealed how Old Trafford's United Nations are driving Sir Alex Ferguson towards an unprecedented quintuple. United are chasing trophies on four fronts, having already secured the Club World Cup. And Ferdinand is convinced that it is Ferguson's ability to knit together a squad of so many different nationalities that is the key to their success. United have the chance to move five points clear of their closest challengers in the race for the title if they beat Everton on Saturday evening, with Liverpool and Chelsea facing each other on Sunday. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « At United we've got Patrice Evra, Carlos Tevez and Ji-Sung Park and you couldn't ask for three people to be closer. "They are like triplets. They do everything together. Even shower together! "I'm joking, but the rest of the players are always looking at them and wondering how they get on so well. "Carlos is Argentinean and doesn't speak English. Ji-Sung is South Korean and barely understands English. And Patrice is French and can only speak broken English. "But that is football and it can bring people together." » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « MANUCHO!! Something for sheep. He sure would be happy after reading this.. except for the last bit. QUOTE(Dancuffe@Redcafe) I went to the game on Wednesday at Upton Park and to be honest, Manucho played really well. He has a great first touch, looks dangerous in the air and tried to lay the ball off to Hull payers on a number of occasions without success, not because his ability or lack of quality in the pass, but mainly due to a lack of understanding with those around him. Just before being subbed he had a great chance with a diving header which only narrowly went wide of the post. Given that Hull were utterly diabolical on the night and that West ham looked very tidy and well organised, I thought he played really well before running out of steam in the 2nd half. A diamond in a cow pat springs to mind. He certainly looked at least of 'Diamonique' quality compared to those around him, Bullard being the exception when he came on. I've watched Hull many times over the years and of course that means games in the lower leagues, never have I seen them role over so easily. Manucho made good runs off the ball and always looked to make himself available, more so than the less than mobile Cousin. You don't always see the off the ball runs on the TV and I think if he can get some games under his belt and get a feel for the prem. Then he has something to offer untied that is very different to what we have now. He's certainly way behind Welbeck though who I think has the makings of something rather special. QUOTE(air_mood @ Jan 31 2009, 11:38 AM) I was expecting a 3-5 games ban for him. ManUtd player, elbow, happen in a final where the whole world watched, and FIFA being FIFA(Blatter, attention seeker), and not to mention UEFA, with the brainless Platini-I-hate-everthing-English as the new head.. it was only a matter of time. Quite surprised he only get a one game ban. Guess people really are scared of him. Added on January 31, 2009, 1:00 pm This post has been edited by Wan: Jan 31 2009, 01:00 PM |

Our team have been complete for a while. Last season with the 4 big signings, we're set for the next 3+ years. With Rafael, Fabio emerging, and the Tosic signing, we're complete.. in term of numbers.

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jan 31 2009, 09:08 PM) This rafa-rant has gotten a bit tiring to be honest. There comes a point where one should just shut up and get on with it. FFS, if you're not playing well, you're not. Try changing what you can change and stop worrying about what you can't. Just let him talk, focus on something rather than on his own team. The genius.. QUOTE "The past three games have something in common I don't like," said the conspiracy theorist. "You can't control what you can't change. It could be like this for years." Long may it continue! KRAP! DM-DM partnership, and one natural striker FTW! And you wonder why they're having a hard time breaking most teams down. Any ideas on the lineup tonight? Would like to see Fabio again, but guess the opponent would be too physical for him. This post has been edited by Wan: Jan 31 2009, 10:59 PM |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jan 31 2009, 11:11 PM) Add: Place a striker as a right sided midfielder and leave a 20 million pound striker on the bench when he's beginning to find form. Benitez. Safety first. I actually like Tosic a lot. I really do. I like the fact that he does everything short and simple and doesn't try for the extravagant and is willing to DEFEND (heck, my favorite players are Vidic and Hargreaves, you'd think I'd not wank over a winger who'd help us defend a lead? It's been a crazy weekend so far with a crazy match between City and Stoke with some crazy collision of heads, crazy De-lapse of sanity from Delap and some crazily poor attacking from Hughes. Let's hope the wanker managers Liverpool and play Football Manager: Liverpool. I'm expecting a natural winger(stay wide!!). But from the games he played for us, he plays exactly like Park, with better control, just not as busy. Can spot a pass, and try to linkup plays.. Giggsy like, without the pace and dribbling ability to cilok past people. Park-like-movement+Giggsy-like-playmaking. Promising. West Ham really like to play passing game huh? Zola is doing a good job on that. This post has been edited by Wan: Jan 31 2009, 11:40 PM |

If Park is fit, no I guess.
QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jan 31 2009, 11:43 PM) I think he's not accustomed to his role and since when we've had players who stick to a position nowadays? Our play is made up of 99 percent interchanging and movement. If Nani doesn't appreciate the art of tracking back, I can see Tosic quickly being our 11. From his Partizan clips, always see him in the middle too. That's just the way he plays I guess. Nani just need a brain and a pair of glasses. Last season even though he was a bit frustrating, but he still produces good plays in between. But this season, he's just annoying most of the time for some weird reason. Richardson like brain. |

QUOTE(visionary1993 @ Feb 1 2009, 01:58 AM) Wonder what that fat spanish waiter gonna say after he saw our penalty. Probably will mention and talk about it in the pre-match press conference tomorrow. He'll prepare a note on an A4 paper, and bring it out of his pocket tomorrow. |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Feb 1 2009, 02:25 AM) The craziness has continued! NO!! He must stay as manager of Liverpool FC! Benitez to host Football Crazy on Star Sports next season. Added on February 1, 2009, 2:25 am But Fellatio has done a great job drifting in and out, sucking defenders in. Gary and Park have been playing like idiots though when defending. Always try to sebok2 when someone already marking the attacker.. and left Baines behind all by himself. This post has been edited by Wan: Feb 1 2009, 02:27 AM |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Feb 1 2009, 02:29 AM) Yes, yes when Fellatio gobbles it up and spits in our faces, you'd be complaining neither tracked him up. One of Fletcher or Carrick need to pick him up. Fellaini? Rio/Vida will pick him up. He's playing more like a striker along with that Australian(forgot his name for a moment). But Gary & Park should stop following the ball and use their brain more. If someone already marking the one with the ball(Pienaar?), then one of them must follow Baines. Really annoying. If it's just once or twice it happens, then maybe can be forgiven, but it happens every time! |

Disappointed a bit. Tevez was good, but wish he was a bit more aware of those around him and bloody pass the ball(and properly!). Berbatov was quiet, unused by the team. Gah!

Any new Rafa rant? It's about time right?
So need a few more games for the world record.. would be nice if we could break them, but as always as long as we get the 3 points, the other stuff would just be a bonus. 1 nil to United! Boring2 United. |
