haha thankyou. yeah. mine was the PandaBase. For a cheap set of filters to me its really worth it. Still aren't as poisoned as PCHO. Probably later will join the eat grass group

50D = RM5k
40D = RM3k+

I would rather get the D90 + a kick ass lens with 5k

I was serious bcoz my gf was planning to get another compact.....which I think is a big waste of money.

40D is a great DSRL..one of my fren own it..last time was planning to get 40D but due to tight budget so din manage to get it..haha..but i m happy enuf with my 450D now..haha..maybe next time all of us here can have a tt section o outing together for shooting..hehe..

i will try 2 make both EOS & Lumix users proud~!

Kit lens and 50mm f1.8II..haha..this is wat i could afford now..lol..will be getting flash gun once i got my budget..lol..but of coz a budget flash la..haha..my wallet is not tat deep since still studying..haha..

From the LX3, u will learn tons of knowledge about photography.
Prepares you for the next step, if u r truly interested.

I would've waited much longer b4 I bought a DSLR bcoz I was truly content with the LX3.
But a close fren of mine gave me a proposal I couldn't resist....

haha..LX3 can produce great photo also man..haha..no nid jealous..and it's a superb camera to use..

haha..i got it by RM280..haha..consider lucky..buy together everything together thn da sales assistant 'count cheap' abit loh..

But the prime lens doesn't have IS, kinda hard to use.
A lot of my fren's shots came out blur.
Although the bokeh is really something marvelous~!

with aperture f/1.8..it actually hlp alot in low light shooting..haha..
i shoot alot of 'artictic' photo(blur) also even though my kit lens got IS..haha..
da detail n sharpness of prime is great..love it alot more thn my kit lens actually..haha..
but da only draw back is da lens hunts alot when looking for focus point in low light..which is kinda hassle sometimes..ahaha..

WE better not discuss this here anymore.

wohoo..the parcel from yamiya finally reach my house today!
i was waiting for the lens pen cos my careless colleague leave his finger print there ( my heart stopped for few seconds when i notice the finger print and scream OMG! )
i immediately use the lens pen to clean the lens after i open the parcel..haha
lucky is not scratches..phew...
