QUOTE(hysteresis @ Mar 10 2009, 03:08 PM) No worries guys, both the batteries are fine! My original one that comes with the camera is 1090 mAh. The additional original batt I bought is 1150 mAh. Both are with the same batt model name: CGA-S005E. Thanks hysteresisAs for the Ricoh lens cap (LC-1), you can get it from Subang Parade Fotokem for less than RM50. Cheers! QUOTE(Mr.LKM @ Mar 11 2009, 12:18 AM) Thanks for showing us the effect of the filter. if you are looking for some skills/technique in photoshop, i have a good reference for you.How do you guys think of the filter effect by photoshop, picassa or any other post processing software? i guess you guys should a look at it. it is a new trend ( at least to me ). haha. the link below teach you how to make your photo into more 3d looking. quite hard to explain here. it basically make your photo less depth and more contrast. take a look at it and maybe you guys can give much better definition than me. Why not just buy it in Singapore, you can check out the singaporean forums. They seem to offer better packages there.
My brother bought his lx3 for about RM1600 but with a nice case (not the pvc type pouches most of us are getting), sd card and extra batteries. |

I find #2 rather eye pleasing actually! Remember that polarizers work best 90 degrees perpendicular to the light source. |

QUOTE(Mr.LKM @ Mar 11 2009, 12:18 AM) Thanks for showing us the effect of the filter. THere are some effects by the polariser that cannot be replicated in Photochop. How do you guys think of the filter effect by photoshop, picassa or any other post processing software? Like reflection control. Sure, you might be able to remove reflections using PS, but you cant include desirable reflections. |

QUOTE(Uzumaki NaruTo @ Mar 11 2009, 04:57 PM) Here's a nice tutorial on digital Polariser I just ordered a set of linear polarizer from e-bay.http://lukeroberts.deviantart.com/art/Digi...ariser-16253049 got it from somewhere around here Should arrive in 5~10 days. Will test them out (maybe in Taiwan) and let u guys have a look. The lens set really not that expensive n worth investing....especially the polarizer. Polarizer + UV filter + extention tube = ~RM100. |

Usually polariser is used to take sky picture as it tend to make the sky look dark blue than pale blue or to reduce glare when taking water or other reflective surface like glass.
