@glock88:
had few bubbles on it once i've put it on but they were gone within 12 hours. (after the solution dried)

the key in applying the shield nicely is to spray as much solution (or plain water) so that you can keep adjust it to your liking. wink.gif

@Mr. Kong:
i don't own the Griffin Reveal yet but yeah it's transparent at the back. maybe you can google around to obtain more info about it?

bro teikweing do u have a pic of ur oakley pouch? =) wanted to get a Sena Leather ultra slim but it wont fit with SGP on..

here's the picture you requested.

i do think an iPhone with SGP on will still be able to fit into Sena Ultra Slim Case. SGP shield is quite thin. smile.gif

hope that it is serving you well!

it has been! and i think you might need to do a tumpang-buy plan again if my promo works. biggrin.gif

anyway, to others, it's an awesome pouch. no more worries about greasy fingerprints or stains. just slide your phone in the pocket, place 'em into your pocket (i've tried with jeans) and the go jalan-jalan abit. then next thing u know your beloved iPhone is clean of grease and grime! rclxms.gif

@jackhammer84:
is it similar to mine? rolleyes.gif

@lancerie:

@teikwing

haha almost the same i think. eh, i did a mistake mentioning it was oakley's. it's actually killer loop  sleep.gif

neways, i malas to upload picture, and i don't have an iphone yet (waiting for eternity 31/7 collection date) to take a size comparison photo of iphone and pouch, but i managed to google and found an image of it, haha. it looks exactly like this (just the pouch): http://img1.classistatic.com/cps/kj/090623...7899a4k_18.jpeg

the whole pouch is made of that micro-fibre kinda material, and doubles up as a cleaning cloth for the glasses.

hi sifus,

  wanna inquire if can recommend a 3G/3GS casing for me which can be purchased from machines/apple store. criteria:

1) metal casing
2) clip on at the back only
3) does not block the front at all. ie no frames around the phone in front.
4) must be able to protect 4 corners of phone if dropped.
5) no budget limit

would have gotten cozip but its not sold in stores. wanna walk in to stores and buy.
should look like this
http://www.iphone-cases.org/pictures/iphon...tic-case-39.jpg

thanks in advance for advise  notworthy.gif
*
@jackhammer84:
yeah mine is the micro-fiber type of material too. the killer loop you shown seems similar to oakley's. wink.gif

@viosowner:
2) clip on at the back only
4) must be able to protect 4 corners of phone if dropped.

this 2 characteristics can't co-exist together. as if it's clipped just the back of your phone, the chrome bezel will be exposed. hence, it will be exposed to drops and damages/scratches.

sifu teikwing,

thanks for the reply. refer to the pic ->
http://www.iphone-cases.org/pictures/iphon...tic-case-39.jpg

to me, that's enough for protecting the sides. the front of the chrome bezel is not tat important.
the main point is i can slide my finger off the edge of the screens without any obstacles.

any suggestions? speck brand maybe?
*
nahh, don't call me sifu. i'm still learning just like everyone here in the forum. blush.gif

couldn't load the page u gave. something similar to SGP case maybe?

@glock88:
that's an awesome-looking leather pouch! but i don't think i've seen it selling locally. not in Machines or even our Garage Sales.

@chizzu:
there's a wide variety of cases for 3G/3GS heres. do read about their reviews and decide from there. smile.gif

i've used variety of rubber cases and i do think SwitchEasy Colors is one of the best. (and affordable + hip/trendy too)

@IpohBoy:
not too sure about 2G cases as i never own a 2G. try to click on the link i've given chizzu (above) and click on "iPhone 2G cases" alright? tons of selections and reviews from there.

@avars:
the small one should do the job. smile.gif

@1212345656:
the Oakley sunnies pouch! and i quote this from nokia2003:
QUOTE
i have demonstrated this maneuver to a few forummers here before.

however this is only applicable to blokes (and perhaps gals who love to wear pants?). when you slip your iPhone into an oakley soft pouch (it has to be genuine as a replica will simply won't do the job and yes i have experimented it before with my shades) and subsequently into your pocket, bodily movements in the pocket and when you slide it out of the pouch, will produce a somehow relatively finger print free screen.

Haha! 1 by 1 being poisoned by teikwing to get oakley's pouch. Soon oakley gonna be wondering why pouch is selling so well compared to the glasses.

So anyone PMed sweettooth yet?
*
haha. it was nokia2003! tinkerbel and me got it after nokia suggested. biggrin.gif

anyway, at the price sweettooth is selling, it's almost the same as what Oakley is selling from their website. smile.gif

try Machines outlets. got mine at Midvalley's and i saw 'em at The Gardens' too.

@chizzu:
it's not that bulky actually. and the hard-jelly resin home button is kinda cool too. if you want thinner ones you might wanna look at Incipio Feather. around RM75. smile.gif

@wen9x88,
I'm not sure how much I paid for mine but it wasn't cheap either except I used mine for a couple of months until I couldn't tahan looking at the phone tongue.gif  Btw those using SGP, does it give U the 'sticky' iShield feeling?!  After using it, it can still fit into a proper leather slip-on casing or not?!

@teikwing,
Wanna shed some light ? *smiles* Or has it been discussed I just uhm.... need to search? sad.gif

whos buying the oakley bag count me in

getting my iphone 3gs end of the month
so i want to ask should i put on the sgp shield?

and i like the Incipio Feather, anyone selling locally?
*
@tink:
urm..i've previously applied IS and currently on SGP. don't think SGP is that sticky compared to SGP. however, dusts sticking at edges is normal. i've used some damp cloth to clean 'em off everytime. and i'm not using any casing now (lovin' my Oakley pouch tongue.gif) so i can't comment on that but i do think the phone will still fit into silicone cases. smile.gif

@jaya_pc87:
look for Twinkles in Garages Sales. smile.gif

@manchurr:

1. SGP Ultra Thin
- hard plastic material
- protects against dents (maybe drops)
- not as slim as Incipio (might add some weight/bulk)
- +- RM65

2. Incipio Feather
- silicone/soft-plastic material
- extremely slim (does not add weight/bulk to the phone)
- does not protects against drops/dents
- +- RM75

decision is yours. smile.gif

both got red design biggrin.gif
*
grip? then silicone case shall suit you better. plastic/hard case has very little grip.

try SwitchEasy Colors, Marware SportGrip, Speck PixelSkin and tons of other silicone cases available in the market. smile.gif

Anyone considered iSkin's Solo & Solo FX? It's got really nice colors, and good balance between hard casing and rubber feel to it.

Check it out, and let me know your feedback smile.gif

both are great casings with protection of volume buttons and power/sleep button. but it way to pricey IMO for a silicone plastic case (RM140-150 in Garage Sales), unless you bought 'em straight from the States.

@jackhammer84:
based on a forummer in Garage Sales, the case doesn't fit since he had Bodyguardz on. however, SGP shield is thinner.

@machurr:
i think Feather is able to fit since it's the a hard case but more to soft-plastic/silicone which is flexible.

based on my experience, Machines Midvalley allows you to test the casings before you decided to purchase it. tested both Speck Pixelskin and Capdase ConXept case together. biggrin.gif

ohh... must head to the PF store in Pavilion then! gosh, if i get one as well then there will be 3 of us having the same exact PF case and Oakley pouch?! laugh.gif

@coconut:
it's a full body shield. protects front, black, the chrome bezel and even the home button. smile.gif
