I just got mine covered by Invisible shield.. after hold it for a day, still feeling unsafe.. possible if i get another add on cover.. eg Grinfin iClear .. which costs RM180  hmm.gif

is there any heating issue? experienced users please advice.....  yawn.gif
*
Griffin iClear costs RM98 @ Machines. and it's always good to have extra protection. invisibleSHIELD protects against scratches while hard case protects against drops. smile.gif

Ah.. so it is ok to put another one in? i was concern will it be any heating issue ...  blink.gif
*
nahh. there won't be any heating issue. the only issue that might arise is that the case might not fit the phone with IS on.

damn.. so another option. i might just take off the back cover.. cuz i believe front cover still can remain.... u using griffin iclear too?
*
i've never tested IS with iClear before (tore off my IS & using iClear back). but from what i heard from reviews, most hard cases won't fit on iPhones with IS on. you might wanna google more on that. or you can opt for soft silicone case like SwitchEasy Colors. not sure Capsule Rebel or Neo will fit with IS on though.

i would advise you to keep the IS on and use SGP case plus use some pouch like Moshi iPouch. best combination i've came across. smile.gif

just bought switcheasy colors for my bro and my iphone, RM70 each, noticed that it attracts lints especially the black color.

the rubber is nice to hold and one have to take out the iphone to clean constantly as i found some dust/lints trapped inside the casing even though i wiped the iphone clean b4 put on this rubber case. the screen protector came with the package is pretty good quality as compared to those cheap type selling by most hp stores.

i will rate 7/10 for this casing.

Still waiting eagerly for my gold color incase slider case  rclxms.gif

the lint/dust issue is the reason i've sold off mine. u gotta use IS to use the casing so that those particles won't scratch the phone. and i got the Stealth Black too, those lint/dust can get really obvious.

however, like what you said, the quality is much much better than those RM20-30 ones. with the given headphone & port cover + 2 screen protectors, it really worth the money. smile.gif

P/S: where u getting your Incase from? price?

Hi there, check out Cold Storage at The Gardens.. Section where they display car polishing stuffs.. I found mine there.. or maybe you can try Ace Hardware store.. There is compressed air selling also in Ace Hardware.. spray your iPhone's dock connector there where it accumulate dust.. I recommend you guys to use iKlear also.. It makes your iPhone pristine..

how about invisible shield?

IS/BG does protect the chrome bezel. but for IS, it still didn't fully cover it. leaving the top flat part exposed. not sure about BG.

I bought the invisible shield already but had a super hard time putting it on. Currently I still have bubbles all over sad.gif How many times can I remove/re-do it again?
*
you're advised to spray as much application solution on it & the phone should you want to adjust/move the sticker over & over again but once it's dried up you won't be able re-do anymore.

anyway, it's normal to have some (not a lot) bubbles after application. mines goes off around 3 days after the application. good luck. smile.gif

@clawhammer:

you got yourself an IS or BG? IS sold in single pack. biggrin.gif

@lycan87:

this issue has been brought up lotsa times. there are different opinions when coems to both. some say IS has orange-peel effect & goes yellowish after some time etc. but hey, people are still using them. IMO, BG is more worth as it's only RM99 for 2-in-1 pack, good for those who tend to mess up on their first attempt or might need one for spare in the future. IS is selling for RM65-80 per set.

something similar to SGP case? looking for something to replace my current iClear. any idea is Incase Slider available at Machines? since Maxis has launched iPhone3G there should be more demand for iPhone3G cases.

just an update, bought Brasso Metal Polisher for 8 bucks just now & polished my chrome bezel hairline scratches caused by my ol' Rebel, now the scratches are gone! (well, almost. cleared off 95% of it. tongue.gif )

wow...i want to get rid hairlines on my chrome bezel...bro, where u bought the brasso metal polisher, DIY shop canget rite?

any special method need to be adopted to polish the chrome part?
*
it's available at any hardware shop i think.

method? just use a soft, dry cloth (i used microfiber) and keep polishing/scrubbing the affected areas. (not too long, 5 minutes should be enough, depends on how serious the scratches are)

overall, i can say i'm quite impressed with the result, though the scratches are not 100% off, they are much much less visible. smile.gif

invisibleSHIELD is only available via online order i think, but you can get it from sellers from our Garage Sales section. just search for 'Zagg' in the search column.

Air Jacket is available at any Machines stores.
