hi guys, my car just got stolen yesterday at pantai hillpark. details as follows
-Honda civic eg4 Hatchback (or dolphin as some call it)
-Red color
-cap ayam ssr type c 15" silver color
-standard bodykit. No lips or ducktail whatever. Standard exhaust also.
-front windshield got ppum sticker and sepang parking sticker PA4
-Back screen got small mambo sticker
-Left sideskirt got crack, big one in fact.
-Driver side seat got a huge tear. nEver bother to fix it up.
-engine type vtec-e d15b
-Plate number wec9711

a lot of civic EG n EK had been stolen la lately...
last month my friend's EK hatch stolen at The Mines...
n last year my other friend's lost his car,also at The Mines...
stolen...
after that,i never go to The Mines anymore...

These are hot hatch top on theft list... Such as EK, EG, SGTi... My bro's SGTi kena twice, but both times also the thief failed to get...

parked inside his apartment parking lot...
summore,already locked his steering wheel,gear lock...
still kena curi,but on the scene,takde kesan cermin pecah or whatever...
he suspect somneone duplicate his car key...
he did sent his car at carwash n leave the key at his car while he went minum2 with his friend...

nowdays a lot of people use EG,EK

no wonder if the EG,EK being stolen

Just change lar...free ma. If you send to Honda, they will change the engine oil alone. Other stuff no need...still early

hi all, i intend to buy a civic ek/ej, and have some questions here.

i read that the b16a engine suffers in low end torque(ala pickup), well how true is that? how is its pickup compare to wira 1.5manual? and compare to its original engine (d series if i'm not mistaken?)

i don't need top speed since i dont speed till 160kmph or 200kmph, at most 140kmph(yeah i am scared to drive that fast ). what i need is the pickup to overtake slow traffic-ers at city/town/kampung, the sudden boost to overtake few cars.

so am i better off with original engine? plz enlighten me thanks all.

Torqueless Wonder ma... If you care about low end torque, you might as well as got brain washed by Toyota lolz...

According to your description, you make sure those kampung/city roads got some space for you to reach your power zone...

BUT... I guess B16 not that bad either... Just maybe you are not gonna catch up with others if you just going 2.5- 3k RPM driving.
