data will never be carried forward regardless whether you subscribe to umi 18 or 28
*
The good thing abt UMi18 is that you can purchase a few UMi18 within the 30 days period when you have used up your data and Voice minutes balance will be roll over to the next Umi18 , you cant do this on Umi28 or UMi48

XOX call rate is 15cents/min to all telco if you topup rm50 at one shot

Chargeable at 30secs/block, meaning 8cents/block, short call also 8/cents per call.

For MNP you get 1800 FREE sms to all celcom/tunttalk and XoX numbers and 28mths Active Validity

Data ~ utilise Celcom's Network at 2Mbps , rm18/300MB and rm38/1GB , speed = 2.0Mbps. superb coverage.

rm50 can last how long validity?
*
For default XOX numbers, rm50 = 50days of active validity.

For MNP , you will get 28mths active validity , if you topup rm30 every 6 mths and the credit will roll-over if you din utilise the credit , meaning XOX will not deduct for "super long life" ~ DiGi charge you rm30/year .

XoX strength is Superb Coverage and Fast Data with Widest Coverage.

Anyone know contact number for 1u u mobile service center? Bodoh CS cannot tell me why my MNP so delay ask me walk-in back to the service center I used to apply. How can they not have the number for their own SC?
*
Actually, you just need to inform me if you intends to re MNP the other Maxis number because it was submitted earlier via my side and its still "open" for re submission. I believe other Umobile Service Centers cannot do it (MNP) because your case ( for that Maxis number ) is still pending. If its for another number, pls disregard my posting.

Hi to U mobile rep here.
I have register for MNP (from celcom) to Umobile @ Sunway Pyramid on 8th Feb, but until today my line still yet change and it's already >5 working days as stated in the standar MNP time line.
Try calling the 018.... service center, no one pick up the phone, email through the u mobile website contact also no feedback.
Before I walk in to the service center in Sunway pyramid again (quite inconvenient for me who working on Mon to Fri), wonder can the sale rep here help to follow up on my MNP issue?
My h/p is 0135181833.
*
Fyi, those MNP request that i emailed over Umobile Activation Dept on 17-2-2013 is already in progress.

I strongly urge you to return to the SC concerned to check with them.

QUOTE(limfookming @ Mar 4 2013, 02:09 PM)
Question about itemised billing.  I'm currently subscribed to U88 plan for a couple of months now but my bills doesn't seem to have itemised billing and I can't seem to find the information on their website.

Their bill only states Access Fee (U88) but not how many SMSes or which number/hours that I have called.  Is there any way to find out the detailed charges?

I'm asking coz I'm considering to reduce my package to either U58 or U28 (depending on how much monthly SMS / Phone calls I use a month)

Thanks in advance.
*
UM have one of the worst billing system in the industry.

I would advice you to port out and re port in as prepaid UMi48 if you want to use back the same number.

Base on my personal bad experience (inclusive those who's still pending for MNP process), the porting to UMobile is very very challenging and also as mentioned by other forumer, their CS (especially phone call and emailing service) is really really sucks, that's why I've given up of porting after 1 month of waiting.
However, no doubt  their U28 package is really attractive and I would say the best offer in the market so far. So, if you really want to try porting to it, you should be ready to face their poor CS as mentioned and be prepare to walk in to their front desk CS (hotlink calling or email can forget about it) frequently to follow up your porting progress till it success.
Good luck!

Gotta ask them , probably for marketing reasons

People would say :-

OMG Telco M sucks , sucks my money. a bit use already charge RM 300

OMG Telco C sucks , internet slower. Even my dial-up is fasttteerr

OMG Telco D sucks , no coverage..always edge...u think this is 1999 ?

When people try u-mobile , they go wah cheap price and wah internet fast and wah unlimited....For telco , it is to ensure quality of service
For people , they see cheap and unlimited , so they just go for it
*
Do you think there is another Alternative in Boleland ?

I mean fast and cheap and UNLIMITED ?

If Postpaid, you have to pay deposit at Service Centre.

If prepaid , you dun have IR facility, however if you gonna stay overseas for a longer period and you need to use your Malaysian mobile number, PM me i can help you to overcome this problem.
