Yes, you can even sell the fon for a profit to a third party but the fon Plan will be tied against the person for 24mths.

If your Easy is > 12mths, you can add 2 more Buddies, lots more goodies coming in July.

From what i knoe is if your DG Easy is over 1 year old come July, you are entitle to add 2 more buddies, more info will be publish in the papers soon........... and Smart Plan ( Prepaid ) can use the Talktime to call 7 International locations ~ China will be one of them, others include, Indon, Nepal, India , Bangla , ......

Another Prepaid addition is Migrant Club whereby you can subscribe for Mobile iNTERNET @ RM18/MTH ( QUOTA = 500MB ) ~ meant for Migrant Workers ~ its great for Social Apps like Whatapps/Wechat/Line...........

Actually DG is QoS-ing Mobile Internet users so that everyone get a fair chance to get online, UM recently sucks , esp from 7pm~midnite. Maxis and Celcom have already raced ahead from the pack now on Mobile Internet

Just set it to Maxis 2G if possible, as for me i set my Umobile to 2G ( Maxis ) only

If you dun have WiFi as your main source of Internet, forget abt UMi18/Umi28 , go for UMi48.

Best is go for MB68, i have many foreign frens here which require to get intouch with folks back home via FB and Skype , they go for MB128 instead. You still can make and receive calls on MB packages, if you have available credits in your ac.

Currently UM3G from 7pm onwards till midnite really sucks at some locations [high traffic locations]

As we knoe data connection fr 7pm onwards is almost usless, it might be a good idea to switch/lock our fon to 2G Only [roaming on Maxis] so that calls wont be interrupted.

Not only data connection is bad, CRM and E reload/ manual topup via coupons, package subscription and renewal [Umobile] during these period sucks too. I believe UM gonna get Fined kawkaw by SKMM soon. I advice ppl to do those stuff during off peak period. Morning time is best.

Data/voice is affected when on UM3G but once managed to log onto Maxis 2G , data cannot work BUT voice is uninterrupted.

No more missed calls.

If you have a Principle and a Supp line in Maxis/Celcom or DG, you can MNP into UM for this Plan and both your numbers can share data or voice.

If you are having a broadband plan ( UM) currently, and if you want this Share Plan, you have to sign up a new account and terminate the existing Broadband line.

SP Plan is only meant for Postpaid only

If you guys want to subscribe to any packages, do so in the morning cause in the evening after 7pm UM system always give problem due to system overload

Topping up via card or ticket also having problems after 7pm, due to system overload.

Best mode of Topup is via E reload. PM if you guys see me online, i can do it in an instant if you see me online.

They customer base expended too fast but still using "old system" how to cope ?

Not only users affected, dealers that are using the System to do User registration and activation are also affected.

Its not easy to migrate from an smaller capacity system to a bigger capacity system.

It cost lots of money and down time, it also needs backup to maintain the whole system, not like for example , if your home pc is laggy, go LYP buy a higher specs setup, install OS then you are good to go. Not so simple to do system upgrade for telcos.

What i can advice is if you need to do package subscription or reload topup, pls do it during those hours that is not being used by the majority of the users , when is the time to do it, you have to use your own creativity, even postpaid customers have their line barred after pymt, because the system "thinks" that they have not paid !!!!
