guys... just checked on digi site... family basic the rm10/mth is access fee, right? and every rm use is what i pay on top of rm10, right?
For Family Basic. You just add RM10 on top of your usage.

QUOTE(ejen @ Jan 26 2009, 08:33 PM)
the 1 family plan is rm30 which is what i need to pay every month no matter i got use it or not, right? that's my minimum pay and if i use over rm30 and i will need to pay how much i've used? correct?
For 1 Family, if you use less than RM30, still pay RM30. If you use more, just pay accordingly.

QUOTE(ejen @ Jan 26 2009, 08:33 PM)
do correct me if i'm wrong... dont what get confuse on the plan and want to have a better understanding before signing up my dad on the supplementary plan... it's also got switch him over under my main line... that wont be any problem hor?
*
How about try using 1Family first? Give it a month trial then if you feel that your that don't need that just call in to change to Family Basic. You can change anytime you want. Changing plan is FOC unless you are bound by contract cheers.gif

Even if you port to Maxis and Celcom, you'll still receive those messages. They don't cost you RM1 to delete them do they? Just press delete and live with it.

The problem is that it means I cannot leave my phone on while I sleep. Previously if there was some urgent matter I would get SMS notification from my data centre operators. I would wake up and call them and tell them what to do. But now I get spammed once or twice a night, so it's become untenable. Worse when I am in other countries and the spams come at truly annoying times like 5am.

Anybody knows if there are any grace period for calls that will not be charged ? Example, if the call lasted for only 2 seconds then I won't be charged ? I checked my unbilled transaction and there was one recent call isn't recorded in the bill. hmm.gif

Not recent, it was a call on Saturday night. When I check the bill, this morning's transaction is already charged so it made me thought if that particular call was free of charge. hmm.gif

As far as I know it wasn't a 1 second call though, maybe about 3-5 seconds. Its nice if there is a grace period. nod.gif

Probably, I guess it depends on the system whether it had recorded down the call to be charged or not. hmm.gif

As far as I know, as long as the call is answered you will be billed. Remember, unbilled amount is the gross estimated charges. I don't really rely much on it biggrin.gif

I need help here, really need help!

I am using prepaid and my gf too. We are happy with the current friends and family rate, we know we can't sustain the payment long but we can meet up almost everyday, so there is not much worry. She did call me for 2 hours a time, but just once in a while.

I am a noob in mobile service, so i do not give a daxx on the rate etc, until yesteday.

I called her using Skype and end up she lost RM150 credit...the reason is she is in China and using roaming service, incoming/outcoming call both RM3/min. cry.gif

I was pretty sad, i need to know a perfect plan for us, sub line or what, i need a really good recommendation.

Please include the plan, payment, phone.no change/not....and the details.

Your help is greatly appreciated. DIGI FOREVER!

If your GF were in Malaysia, then I could recommend the 1Family plan. Anyway, I heard DiGi offers one of the cheapest IDD rates. So no worry but I'm not really sure of the rate. Viking should be able to assist you on this part. smile.gif
