thinking of taking my car for it's first service tomorrow. but i'm in melaka and i have no idea where the service center is. help!

Hi guys, sorry to bother. Am planning to go for 1st service this week (1k++ d, huhu), thinking of going to COE along KESAS. What time does it open eh, normal working hours issit? No need booking rite? Cant find the details on the net  .

1 more thing, how far could i go before going for 1st service? I mean the mileage...coz i'll be going for outstation pulak 2morrow. Warranty wise is in the manual I think, cant remember correctly, but in terms of the car engine itself im in need of advice/s plz!

sphiroth.. not only morning got speedtrap even at night and early morning also got speedtrap at highway especially after Tangkak exit. Last time, I notice a patrol car parking near Tangkak exit (South bound) just waiting for those "speed demon"..

yep noticed tat a few times too. but i dun go outstation nowadays so quite lost a bit with the new updates/hideouts. last time they always like to hide under bridges.

actually, our HId lamps are great to spot the bright blue+yellow stickers of PDRM patrol cars.. hehehe... from far you can see their car 'glowing' i've set my headlamps a bit higher so that it can shine further.so far no complaints from opposite sides and its a good thing we can do some fine tuning on the height levels too. haha..

this week i'm practising hyper miling... trying to upshift at 2krpm. very very very very very slow...  at max also 70kmh at 5th gear. also, i notice that the rpm is always around 1.2k... so just step a bit already over 2k rpm... need to be super gentle on the throttle... hard work!!

maybe can squeeze anohter 10-15kms extra... 

Yup2. This is true. I regularly do that with my previous car and continued the habit. 2k shifting adds some extra mileage sometimes. The conditions are super flat roads or downhill. No inclines at all even very slight ones. If early shift + incline the distance to petrol station suddenly drop a lot and since I didn't trust the guesswork too much I maintained few days driving like that. Have to fill up tank a bit earlier haha.

When I maintain 2.5k to 3k I get very good mileage. Mind you mine's a Gen2 CPS so might have slight differences with Waja CPS courtesy of different body weight.

110 km/h limit is before my car hit 1000kms. After the oil change I revved it kao kao. Gear change not higher than 3000rpm.

Now after 2.5 mths mileage ard 3.3k kms. Today after work revved it till almost 7000 rpm. Shiok!

Fuel consumption getting lower. Still monitoring. 

First 3 service I plan to use the 10W40 oil provided by SC. After that its gonna be 10W30 as per owner's manual.

pickup time faster??...and fc?...much saving compare den w40?? but alot people said, campro is hot engine..will harm/not good for long journeys   and also not good for frequent high revving/highspeed...

I usually change gear at 4 - 5k RPM.. but sometimes rev up 'till redline..especially when someone try to "cucuk-cucuk" 

u r rite.. how to remove this speed cut limiter  piggyback unit? 

They just said to sell their product or they've tried before in CPS's engine? I think with Neo CPS coming out soon, maybe there will be more devices out there will be cater for CPS especially from R3's stable.. 

try Pivot Speed Meter V cheaper then RSM.

erm....i change at the workshop....good?...so far ok....but wonder y fully synthetic so cheap RM75 only..

haha....190km for merc not scary...rite?...coz its a merc... ...but so far i think proton cars during highspeed not bad...stable...i even try up 2 180km at klia no shaking all....compare to the wira i drove last time 160km max coz rushing back home....car float like shit..and heart pumping very fast..lol. vibrate also until the coins in the ashtray vibration...

haha..so use tyres like 55  instead of 60?...putting strut bars will help too rite?

still i hv to totally agree...previously using stock springs..driving back to ipoh at 160kph only...damn it...floating fleeing and during big bumps at those speed..u feel like wana loose control of the car...

after 17" and lowered ride..problem gone...btw..3 point front strut really improved ur cornering...

our car got limited to 190kph meh./..i rmb i can go beyond tht....

but the car will be lower and ride comfort will be noisier?..all these noticeable? alot different??

more bumpy ride??..like town driving can feel very bumpy..rite?

I'm wondering the MME camshaft got any different compare to normal campro? If it's the same then it has no different like normal campro with R3 exhaust system.

a non-campro can outrun a getz on 3rd gear at 3.5k rpm onwards
so how hard can it be for a CPS?

i can easily outrun civic or lancer, even without rev 100%
guess tat getz got something else under the hood
but still....

those above are some of the place u can go dyno

there is a rev cut that is set in every car that comes out of the factory.
unless u removed it, dont need to worry there is a rev cut there...

CPS is rev-happy..hit it to the red line!
