quite busy lately
guess i missed out a lot
so how's thing going?

btw, this morning kena provoke by a hyundai getz
tat ******* get next 2 my car, look at me face 2 face, put out a sarcastic smile, n then sped off
damn, how can i endure that!!
so i floor my pedal, trying to tailgate him back
but donno y his getz's acc so good, cant chase him back
argh... tension!!

Yours AT or MT? If MT drop straight to 3rd gear and rev to redline. No use drop to 4th unless your current speed is 120++. The aim is to push the rpm to more than 4k. But if AT, not much can be done.

mine is MT
already drop to 3rd gear, rev until 5++ when i stop chasing
no idea on how come i'll lose so much on acc
1st time kena smoke like this (by normal cars la)

UPDATE:
should bring this up as well, my WAJA CPS got a little underpower on gear 2/3 when rev at 2000-2500rpm
the car feels heavy/pedal not so responsive during this rpm
after 2.5k, the car acc really nice
is this normal or should i go check?

go dyno and see where is the power lost

hrmm.. u dont use full power..only at 5k..next tym do the 7k shifting..then u will see the result...

Seconded. Or at least until 6.5k rpm (peak power). And 'short shift' does help alot too.

RM100 - 2 runs is not cheap...

go to sunway...
usually dyno is 3 runs...
certain places in sunway u can get RM 80


a non-campro can outrun a getz on 3rd gear at 3.5k rpm onwards
so how hard can it be for a CPS?

ya, i cant believe myself
i can easily outrun civic or lancer, even without rev 100%
guess tat getz got something else under the hood
but still....

Rev limit at 7.2k rpm.

Where in Sunway? Not very familiar with this area.

Thats also a possiblity.

yeah..i guess its the 'silence killer' getz... did u spot the plat no? or any description of the getz? maybe someone of forumers wanna test with the getz

there is a rev cut that is set in every car that comes out of the factory.
unless u removed it, dont need to worry there is a rev cut there...

CPS is rev-happy..hit it to the red line!

True. But the only problem is that you will be addicted to it.

the rev cut is there to prevent you from over-reving the engine
so its ok to hit the rev-cut

i did that almost everyday with my 2nd gear

of course do it at your own risk la

Does any CPS owner use the 'PIVOT SPEED METER V'? Wanna know if it can remove the speed limiter.
