haha....190km for merc not scary...rite?...coz its a merc... thumbup.gif ...but so far i think proton cars during highspeed not bad...stable...i even try up 2 180km at klia no shaking all....compare to the wira i drove last time 160km max coz rushing back home....car float like shit..and heart pumping very fast..lol. vibrate also until the coins in the ashtray vibration... rclxub.gif

Lowerering your ride with stiffer abd will really improve your high speed stability. brows.gif

From my experience, strut bar helps mostly in cornering, but very minimal effect during high speed straight driving. I use 50 series tyres and really satisfied with its balanced between stability and comfort.

still i hv to totally agree...previously using stock springs..driving back to ipoh at 160kph only...damn it...floating fleeing and during big bumps at those speed..u feel like wana loose control of the car...

after 17" and lowered ride..problem gone...btw..3 point front strut really improved ur cornering...

our car got limited to 190kph meh./..i rmb i can go beyond tht....

More spesifically our rpm at 5th gear stuck at 5.6k rpm. If going downhill can get 200, but that about it.

Tyre noise I think depend on the tyre thread and compound. But comfort level will be compromised.

no la...Penang Island very small, so the travelling distance also short. But if mileage + idling i think will be more. Furthermore i have 2 cars lo...so most of the time will drive Waja hehehe

Wah, so nice. Divide mileage! Mine 2k+ already, less than 1 week ohmy.gif . Pushed my car a bit after 1st service, satisfied! Doing 160kmh only la btw...n I think need to do balancing again, sigh..

Btw, I noted the 'nyek nyek nyek' sound quite normal in Waja/Gen2..n I got it too. So, last nite I was prodding my car here n there..but couldn't find the source rclxub.gif . Chassis problem mayb? Coz some said so.. Can share with me where I should look for next time?
