Haih... already found problem with new car. When playing mp3, the steering vol+ and Mute buttons both increase volume, and the vol- pauses the song. Proton QC rules!

The C-pillar in Gen2 really thick. Not used to reversing and cannot see anything.

Spent a couple hours at acc shop. Installed Locktech pedal lock and immobiliser with dual stage locks. Cannot start engine and press brake if locked. Also added 2 LED strips in the footwell that come on when the doors are opened. Saw they got motion sensor and some LED style taillamp that's a lot cheaper than the Brothers one but that's something for another day.

So why need treatment?

Just drove my car up to KL. Quite happy with the stability at high speeds, went up to 160kmh only since new car.
But noticed really not much power til after 4k rpm and road noise quite loud. Maybe is the stock tyres problem.
And really like playing with the auto-cruise. Heheh...

Gen 2. Would adding soundproofing materials to the doors help with NVH?

All that just to gain 30hp? Seems a bit labor and wallet intensive...

Drop in or open pod?

Just filled up from empty tank. Pump cut off at RM62, but when I see the meter its still a bit under full. BTW, when I check the fuel consumption, I get sth like 6.6L/100km for highway and 6.9L/100km for city. Is this close to you guys'? Mine is auto Gen2

Hmm... how come I never notice any tiktik sound? Comes from the CPS or VIM? What rpm? I forgot already, heheh...

What shop is that? If just install strut bar not much use right? Have to pair with anti-roll bar also. I think I'm gonna go for R3 springs 1st before bars.

Aiks, I'll still go for springs, then 195/55/R16 tyres before struts. But tempted lah, since its the cheapest mod compared to others.
Also noticed CPS quite loud. When air con compressor kicks in, even louder. Gen2 new air con super cold, turn to lowest settings also freezing to death.

0w-30 oil is better than 0w-40? I tot bigger range is better?

If go PSC, that's the oil they'll give? Dun wan later blur blur give oil for Campro spec...

Just back from Cameron. Walao, none stop driving really tiring. Have to say CPS performance not too bad on uphills and handling also pretty good. On highway back from Spg Pulai exit saw a bad crash, Wira front and back all gone, left passenger cabin only but I didn't see any blood so I think the ppl inside still ok. Just nice come back milage hit 1111km. Can go 1st service and treat my baby to POSH car wash! Hahaha...
