Seems like so many things to mod for this car... I slowly kena poison also...

MT seems more fun and powerful, but driving in KL jam I dun wan step clutch until leg cramp. Like yesterday's flood jam, so scary...

Dun even know my plate no. yet, haha... Register in Johor but will be using in KL. Can anyone recommend a good service center around Maluri or PJ?

Black Gen2 is nice, just need extra effort to keep it clean. nod.gif

BOT=Bolt on turbo.

R3 parts can get at Proton COE or at RACE glenmarie. But without promotion, the price are higher than are brands such as GAB.

For the bars explanation, go to ultra racing website.

Get the MT for most satisfaction. One more thing, even with the clutch fully release and gear engage (1st until 4th), the engine will not stall even if you didn't pressed the throttle, except when you pressed the brakes. This actually make it easier in jam.

If really wanna bot, get a 2nd hand car. Use the extra budget to mod. BOT will easily cost you RM5k and that without management/tuning.

COE is along Kesas highway, but at Glenmarie also got SC. One thing I like about 3rd party SC is that they allow me to bring my own engine oil and stand beside my car when they do the service.

True, furthermore no use of using variable valve lift tech when using turbo as its make the tuning alot more complicated and there's reliability issue also.

Sticker and emblem can get at any accessory shop that sells sticker. But to fing the high quality one is quite hard unless if its original. The high quality R3 emblem is RM28 which I almost bought but didn't because afraid later people will steal it.

I use Helix Ultra Fully Syn 5w40 but they guys at RACE use Castrol Edge Racing Fully Syn 5w60 for their race preparation package. Maybe its better. hmm.gif

Camshaft is not small mods as it already considered the engine internal. Furthermore, have to wait for R3 to come out with performance camshaft for CPS.

Can claimed, but better claim at SC because faster as they keep more spareparts. If 3rd party SC, usually need to order.

Very expensive. The Rm60 emblem are sold at RM28 at a shop in Sunway.

I also don't know why paultan graph is so smooth... maybe it was cause by the characteristic of the dyno machine. AFAIK, every machine will give slightly different result. And another suspect is the VIM switching at 4.8k rpm. Because the car is not moving, the air suck in is still the same regardless of the 'short or long' intake manifold. hmm.gif

Maybe because the car is not moving, thus air is not force into the intake. So volume of air is not enough when it switches to short runner causing the ECU to decrease the fuel in the mixture to avoid running rich... hmm.gif And I don't feel any lack of torque after 5k rpm when driving also.

Mod done: K&N airfilter and exhaust system.

Anyone heard of Accumat sound proof? Saw the material at one shop which consist of 2 layer stick together. According to the salesman, its better because save time to install rather than using 2 separate layer. 1 layer is to absorb hi freq while the other for low freq. But forget to ask the price..
