ok guys, Im having a very annoying problem since 8pm till now. here it goes:

when my g700 is switched on, my maxis got full bars, but i cant send sms out, nor call. I tried calling my hp using my house phone, and failed.

I turn it off, open the casing, takes out the batt and sim card and put it back again, then switch it on. the problem persist , but I got incoming sms from maxis I got miss calls from my housephone.

still with full bar and "my maxis" status on screen, i tried sms again. failed. soon the icon that looks like a "phone with a diagonal bar" showed up. I "poke" on it and it said "no incoming call (gprs)" something like that (not sure exact error msg, but it seems imply block incoming call).

not long after that... all bars gone, and the dreaded "no access to network" status is shown.

any idea of the cause and solution?

any other maxis user in your house? try to see another phone..if only your phone, try to use your sim card in another phone..

hi guys, any1 of you noticed the backlight darkening on the g900 and g700? it dims randomly. and 1 more thing, the g700 appers to produce sharper pictures than the g900, i have both phones O.o

Well 1st nite happened was the great flood (2 days ago). My fren told me "mayb" maxis comm tower faulty. Next morning the line is OK in my PJ office,  but when reach home at nite, the problem started. Hmm.. I tried to disable 3g like how you suggested. woohooo..... its solved.

erm tumpang thread. for the directional round button, up button opens up calender. is there any way for me to change it to open the music player instead?

used to be able to change the shortcuts on my k750. haven't figured it out on g900

Emm nope wo. I havent go thru whole of this thread,so havent read up on all the goodies u guys been discussing, tips and tricks. Maybe I do it tis weekend to powerup my g700 to the highest level.
