So far my girl has gotten 3 basic groomings.... 1 from Ikano's pet safari, twice from Kinzonu in Pg.... If only Kinzonu was nearby, I would gladly send her to him every month for grooming as he is very well versed with maltese....
I even get grooming products from him to care for that little monster's hair.... (better care than my own hair pula -.-")
Now, I need to find a groomer that is close to such standards in KL.... which of course abit malas to find, coz i dont want her fur to bcome the subject of trial & error....

I hope her's dun come so early too.... Feel like they no longer puppy when have 1st heat.... Lol....

now she already like apply super glue stick to me....
up till the point that i need to watch out if she long time didnt go to the pad to urine or not and carry her there if not she will rather hold it in probably until she gets an "accident"....
i wonder how to remove this "super super glue" from her....
thank goodness she wont bark/make noise when i'm not around.... *touchwood* hope it wont happen....

Seraph pees on any cloth surface she can get if i dun bring her to the pad regularly.... So I dun dare let her sleep on the bed with me anymore.... lol....

Haha.... A naughty part of Jasmine.... XD my floor mat also now i fold into 1/4 size just enough for me to wipe feet & her sleeping towel also fold just enough for her to sleep on so that it wont be similar size to the tray....

around what age their full set of adult teeth finish growing? I planning to take her for scaling.... is it expensive?

double teething need to do surgery???? oh dear! her fangs are double.... she has 4 pairs of fangs now.... 2 pairs up, 2 pairs down!
i'm free this weekend.... lol.... is HAP's all pet gathering next week still on? if not we can just make it into a mini maltese gathering.... I also worry if too much dogs will stress her up....
her teeth now alot of tartar coz soaked kibbles will become more mushy so will stick to the teeth and become tartar d.... smelly mouth! but i suppose they are all baby teeth so no point to scale them as it's gonna fall sooner or later....

now she still teething so i will soak the kibble in a little bit of water.... that time the surgery cost you how much? after that very fast recover or she will pain for some time?

for surgery, gasing or yeoh is better ah?coz i'm familiar with yeoh.... my female basset spayed in yeoh 1....

Seraph had those deciduous teeth removed already.... alot of them, almost 10.... whole procedure took approx 30 min + wait for her to wake up approx 30 min + wait the anesthesia to wear off approx 30 min.... cost me RM172.... now she refuse to eat coz its pain... got blood stain around her muzzle fur sumore....

i went to yeoh, afterall, i'm more familiar there.... i soak her kibbles in hot water for almost half an hour....
i will attend if seraph is well by friday night.... still not as active as usual.... which daughter are you gonna bring? their heat over already?

ya they sedate her.... thats why i waited almost 30 min before she wakes up but still groggy.... you know when they in the process of waking up their head swings left & right? thats when she suddenly start screaming.... the vet told me coz she feeling pain.... after awhile the screaming stopped....

Always look for reputable maltese breeders that specialise in maltese, that way, you can be sure it is pure breed as they would provide MKA cert which proves the puppy's lineage. Always do your research on the breeder and the breed you looking for....

malaysia do not have such facilities.... hence i didnt say any maltese have MKA cert is pure breed....
i say get from REPUTABLE breeders who specialise in maltese as they guarantee pure breed and provide MKA cert....
besides, reputable breeders are happy to guide you into raising your new maltese if you have any queries/problems....

wah.... get from kinzonu or fred la, but duno when will have next litter 1.... so that autumn wun have blood related relatives....

next time i also wanna get a variety of breeds, but somehow maltese still no.1.... must get job & earn money 1st before i get a 2nd pup....

For puppies, should let them eat alot as they are in a growing stage, at least 3 times a day.... If you can feel their ribs easily, it means they are not eating enough so you should feed more.... No offence but your seller (i personally wont call these type as breeders) probably misled u to ration your puppy's food to stunt its growth so that they can prove that its a so called mini maltese...

Chubby puppies are much cuter than skinny ones.... Unfortunately my girl is super picky & constantly refuses to eat that up till now at the age of 8+ months, i'm still hunting for the right food for her, hence she is almost the size of a 4-5 month puppy, which breaks my heart seeing her at such a small size.... I wanna see her eat like a hungry ghost n grow fat.... I dont even mind if she wanna eat alot, i'd happily feed her....

So never underfeed your puppy.... intro it to us....

besides, you could always feed till he is fat to the ideal size then from there on monitor his intake.... if too fat, reduce abit.... if too thin, increase abit....

@Muchan, even with Seraph not so noticible lemon markings and her small size, people still call her a shih tzu.... just coz they have long hair!

haha.... seraph really dun like people to lift her up or flip her on her back or anything that cause her feet to not touch the ground.... got it from nicolle i think, coz fred say nicolle also dont like to be lifted....

seraph is rather light sleeper for a puppy.... i just fidgeting on the chair also she will wake up to check what i'm doing.... the only time i can secretly get up is when she is in deep sleep & dreaming (she will make sound 1.... )

i just bought her this new brand of kibble in pet safari called fish4dogs.... suppose to be a popular brand in SG and the ingredients mainly is fish, which i like compared to chicken.... i think she also prefer fish as i sometimes steam fish or chicken for her dinner and she will eat the fish faster than chicken.... she seem to take the kibbles well so far la.... hope i have finally found a kibble that she enjoy....
