Yes, that clears it up now. Its the variant indicator for different region. I believe Nokia should come out with something to compete with LG Cookie. A 3G-less version of the Nokia 5800. Its gonna be very competitive. Ooh wait, to go that cheap it has to use s40 but it doesn't have the touch version of s40.  Something for the future.
All packages (even AP) should come with 8GB unless the seller decides to remove it from the package.

hehe....there is already a non-3g and non-wifi version of 5800 for the china market. wonder how much that costs?

Tried it already (trial)... Doesn't play nice with the virtual keyboard yet...

And on a side note... Do you people actually notice the fact that the 5800 ALREADY comes with Japanese fonts (or at least the Avaxx/Zitron sets or the APs that come with the APAC firmware)?

Now someone had better start designing Jap input options for the virtual keyboard (come on, Apple could do it) AND/OR (even better) the handwriting recognition pad... Already tried +J, Crystal Japanese (both pure phail)...

It's like, the ultimate Japanese enabled Nokia phone!

guys, can you use opera mini although it still haven release a version for 5800? i need it to surf facebook..bloody TM block the access to facebook using the nokia browser..

N95 8GB (Return of The King- gsmarena)
-Very loud speakers compared to n85 (did not compare with 5800 speakers yet)
-3D accelerator which BOTH 5800 and n85 does NOT have
can play my ngage games smoothly
possibly process the taken pics better
also renders 3d maps faster in nokia maps and garminXT maps.
-Price wise it's a bit more than 5800 and quite the same as n85 so it's a no brainer. this is much better function wise.

-Infrared (can control my tv set )
-Larger screen than n85 (beats all my friends hp)
-N85 looks like my previous N81 and that's not good. I dont want my friends to think im buying the same thing

and MOST importantly,
-a 5mp camera that's is better than n85 and can record videos in low light/indoors with much2 lesser noise than 5800 3mp camera. u guys know how horrible the vid rec on the 5800 right? afaik N73, 5610XM & 6500c 3mp camera is better than 5800 3mp camera

but for people who wants a nokia touchscreen device, 5800 is the only one u can get right now..
for me function is more important.. n97 coming
