I changed from the earlier City to this all new City.

Just curious, and apprecaite if anyone can give some answers to the following :-
1) How, where to install the door auto lock and how much ?
2) Why does the car alarm when arm or unarm, is silent ? Any way to have the alarm beep besides the indicator lights ?
3) When the alarm goes off, its rather soft, anyway to make it louder ?

the above question are already been discussed earlier ....
1. our group got organize a group installing beore this,price range is around RM100
2. the alarm is original came like that, so no way to modify yet, unless you install other alarm system.
3. yes... because the alarm position placed at the back boot, some of us here already moved it other place... so the alarm will sound louder

how was the outcome?? i have light scratches on my bumper
and i was considering of using meguairs scratch X but worry
that it will make the stock paint fade.

after applying meguairs scratch X, will it makes the paint surface
become rough??

Thanks bro. I still remember together with the earlier City model owners, a group of us formed the first TT and there it started to be more and more. After i lost contact as was busy with my overseas assignments and business trips.

Anyone know where to do auto-lock in Ipoh?

Bro, not to worry. my new City is with V-Kool Elite and the SmartTag and my GPS all work fine from the inside. Just that for SmartTag have to go slower as detection is reduced. For GPS signal, no problems i get 8 to the full 12 satelitte signals. I use a Mio GPS/PDA loaded with MapKing. Costly though at RM1.6k 4 years ago.

Scratch X works similarly to a polish. It takes a very very tiny layer of your clear coat therefore it doesn't do anything to your base coat(unless your car's clear coat is all gone). If you have those white scractches on your bumper, it shows your clear coat was scratched instead of your base coat which is your paint. It will not make your paint fade nor make the surface rought(but in fact makes it smoother).
