QUOTE(dayojah @ Jun 11 2020, 03:39 PM) The easy way to find out is to use an isolation transformer. It may not be DC, Malaysian mains tends to be too high, which makes transformers cook and buzz. My office is often 257V and TNB refuse to fix it i see, may be a similar problem in my case. my amp's back panel mention power rating 230v ~50hz. since the hum is not really audible i'll just ignore it rather than spend money on it. thanks

QUOTE(jazzy939 @ Jan 16 2009, 11:55 PM) Steel is a little bit harder though... easier on aluminium.. As per LG's process but I'd drill a series of small holes.. about 1/8" max., very close together. Once completed, 'punch' out the inner metal and use 1/2 round or rat tail file to smoothen the hole and adjust dimensions to suit the object going through the aperture Thanks for the information you have given.

QUOTE(jazzy939 @ Feb 20 2021, 12:25 AM) Wow.. that's an old post! You're welcome! Sorry to burst your bubble, I think that was a test of injecting link into message. Could be for fooling google search crawlers or baiting people to innocent looking site that have malicious code. Rat-tail file was identified as rattail haircut. I wonder if it was done by auto script instead of a real person.

If the toroidal transformer have 3 set of secondary voltage like 24vac-0v-24vac , 30vac-0v-30vac and 12vac-0v.Can i replace it use 3 square transformers ? What i mean is first transformer 24v-0-24v . Second transformer 30v-0v-30v. third transformer 12v-0v.

Hi guys, been trying to get back into the hobby as part of my re-training process. Anyway, working on a MOSFET class a amplifier. Progress is as per the photos. Most of the components soldered, just left the ones supposed to mount onto heatsink. Will mount once I get the casing to mount everything into. Wanna ask if anyone here knows where to find casing something like in the picture below
