from wat i see...
rafa not really into 'speedy gonzalez' player... he more into passing n possesion...
but with keane, we can see the different game by liverpool...

I dont know, Babel is quite speedy and brings little to the team. To get exceptional individual talents you need to spend a lot money. Then you need to depend on the player to maintain form otherwise the team suffers. Theres nothing wrong with playing passing and possession football, its just finishing is the only problem. i think its great that Rafa is giving us a rather unique football style. I would hate it if the pundits would comment on us playing like the manc or arsenal or worse chelsea. Last match against Everton, i felt a buzz when i heard the commentator commented something along the line ".,,bla bla oh look at liverpool now what a machine as we know they can be..". That just go to show that we are unique and nearing in becoming the crushing machine that was Valencia.

Babel is such a great talent. But somehow lately he was not doing well. Maybe pressure from Riera made him like that. He's pushing into the lineup and wanted to show Rafa that he's good but that made him more impatient and selfish. Man at such young age, don't we all have times like that too.. Unless he can prove that he can bring something to the team, I don't believe that he should be in the starting lineup, as sub maybe ok. At least he can provide another style if we are in tight situation.

I don't like to watch any pundits and analyze. Even most of them were once a Liverpool player, they just talk rubbish about Liverpool. They looked down to us. But praised United, Chelsea or even Arsenal. Also I hate to watch they talk about the same things over and over again every week.

I don't suppose villa can squeeze in the top 4 this season, but if Liverpool doesn't step up this 1~2 games, we might embaress ourselves by allowing aston villa to go on top of us.

villa squad is quite 'thin' ... if you look at their bench players, almost all are youth or newcomer to epl ...

Such an immature talk. You sound like you just watched football for a month. And you sound just like most United fans, being unreasonable.

I'm not picking a fight with you but please analyze the facts, history, and Rafa's tactic before you talk bad on someone.

Not everybody with such high value will succeed. We've seen so many flops not only in Liverpool history but in other teams too. Same league not necessarily same tactic throughout the teams. Individually, someone will have his down times in his career, and maybe now is the time for Keane. Remember when Crouch being goal shy for almost a season, but he manage to thrive it and settled down before he's been decided not fit into Rafa's style. It's just half a season and everybody talk bad about him. FIY, Keane is in Liverpool not because Rafa wants to, but the directors. He wants Barry, not him. So don't blame if Keane is not picked. And I believe he's been working hard to show that he deserved to be in the starting lineup. Give him another 5 months. Torres is a monster. I also didn't expect him to be that good in his first season. He has magic. But don't forget, not everyone is like him.

So please. Think first before starting flamebaiting.

Now your the one who is immature...

Where was Keane playing when Torres was injured? I believe he was the target man right?
Wht happen at that time?

Since when Torres became a magician? Is he trying to be like David Blaine?

So please. Think first before starting flamebaiting!!! HAHA

If Torres can fit to the team in his 1st season, why can't Keane do it.
Furthermore, Torres never had any EPL experience when he joined Reds...

but u must remember eventhough keane has BPL experience, he wasn't in the team that plays same formation as liverpool...btw rafa said before 'i ask for the table, but they bought me a lamp'..rafa wanted barry but the board went for keane...

Why compare Keane with Torres? They are totally different in terms of playing. One as a target man, one as a feeder. doh.gif

Comparing Keane and Torres is almost the same likes comparing Fabregas of the team u support with Vierra... doh.gif

Seriously, I m quite surprised when someone know nuts about keane's playing styles talks shitty stuff about him here.Did you even watch him playing before?

From what comes from my memory, when Keane played as target man during Torres' absence, he found the net 5 times. 1 against your team, arsenal, 4 more against another team.

In other games when he din score, MOST of the time, he was playing down the right, switching position with Kuyt frequently while Kuyt moves in channel to the position of striker.Which is why, that particular time, he wasnt really playing as a target man but more as a feeder and provider. Sometimes, he even play on the left. How can a target man moves from left to right? A target man is like Berbatov.Lazily wait for ball up front, beat the defenders and score. If keane is a targetman, what is Berbatov then?

As for the statement of Torres has magic, I bet every single soul in this forum understand that's a statement stating Torres has the ability to change the game.No one mention he is magician or trying to be David Blaine. If you got time bullshitting about something you know zilch, why dont u spend some time learn some basic english? It seems like simple english post by GulaV forced you to dead end and you found nothing else to fight but to pop out nonsense like magic and David Blaine. doh.gif

Or there is something wrong with your understanding? Poor understanding you have over there. doh.gif

Anyway,
