It will be stupid to turn down a lucrative offer of 28m for a 29 years old striker(he will be 29 in July) but with only left Benny on the right wing and the transfer window drawing to close soon, it's more likely that Rafa turn down the offer.An offer of 28m for someone with no pace but immense workrate and stamina, it's tempting.A lot of people on the net had been having a dig on Kuyt by saying that 2.8m from the offer is for Kuyt's skill and stamina, the rest are for his looks . I wonder how much Torres worth then? 30m for the skills? add another 100m for the looks? 

Anyway, looking at the current squad, can we really cope with the absence of Kuyt?Some would say that we can with the likes of Gerrard, Babel and Benayoun all can play on the right.Keane was played on the right wings a couple of time back in his times in spurs. Is true but will the right flank as dangerous as before?Keane certainly dont have as much as stamina as Kuyt.In fact, none of our squad players has that monstrous stamina Kuyt has.Can the selfish babel exploit the right flank with his raw pace? Or can the lack of consistency Benayoun do his wonders like his previous few games? Will Gerrard be as effective as he is in the middle?Everything remains unknown.

The both side flanks of Liverpool squad is known to be the weakest area of the squad.Over the past, Rafa signed almost a dozen and none works wonder on both flanks that caused him no choice but to revert Kuyt to right side. The left flanks only solved recently with the joining of Riera but still, the right flank remain a problem.Kuyt is never a natural winger.Rafa knows it.Kuyt knows it.In fact, the whole world know it.But the stubborn Rafa keep mentioning about the extra thing Kuyt is offering - The immense stamina...Is that all we need on the right flank? Kuyt obviously doesnt have pace like Keane, skills like Riera, finishing like Torres or crossing like Pennant.Just because he has an immense and monstrous stamina, Rafa keeps him on the pitch for 90minutes for almost each and every match.

28m for a 29 player with no pace of Keane or finishing of Torres is really a big money.If Rafa really need someone with immense stamina, sign Heskey.He has bags of premier league experience and not light weight like Kuyt is.He is known for his selfless play, making space for others and incredible workrate.But I missed out one thing, he only available for 3.5m and that's his price.If rafa need someone like Kuyt on the right, get Heskey and sell Kuyt...With 28m, we can buy one quality player and one promifsing youngster.Why not then?
