it would've been better if liverpool had lost, so then they wouldnt have had to deal with the replay in a already tight february month.
and if it was any other team than everton, im sure if rafa could've he would've fielded a side with 11 babels in it to ensure the loss. as it was, babel was a complete waste of space last night. but feck it, wigan game coming up in 2 days time, with only 3 days rest before meeting chelsea on sunday... will we see a weakened lineup this time? |

babel works better as an impace sub than a starter.. perhaps that was tactical mistake?
let riera starts then take him off for babel after 60 minutes |

Like Tomkin's article, I see Babel as a hit and miss player. So inconsistent that when he's good, he'd be a hero (remember he outpace Fabregas and scored) but as opposite, he just a worst blunder, and last night he's just horrible. I remembered someone said he as the next Henry, but now, nowhere near that. Babel is known by us as a super sub, and he suppose to continue doing so. Maybe Rafa wants to give him chances but he just cant take the chances given.
Riera in the other hand, I'm quite fond of him since ManC but not confident he can compete at Liverpool. It seems that I was wrong. He is the best winger for the time being, and cheap too. I love seeing him using fancy moves to evade the defenders rather than Babel using his speed and pace. But sadly, he can only play on the left. Now we need to find someone like him for the right side and breaking the defense will be easier. I expect to see a little weakened side for Wigan's game. Expect Keane and Lucas to start. But I guess Rafa won't take any chances to make us drop points again. Enough on dropping points till now, time to be a genuine title challenger. |

NEMETH AND LINDFIELD ON THE MOVE
Krisztian Nemeth today completed a loan switch to Championship side Blackpool. The Hungarian striker, who has just turned 20, will spend a month at Bloomfield Road. Nemeth was the star of Liverpool's title-winning reserve team last season and is already part of the Hungary national squad. He has yet to make his senior debut for the Reds, though he has featured in pre-season friendlies. Meanwhile, Wirral youngster Craig Lindfield will spend the rest of the season on loan at League Two side Accrington Stanley. |

p2p bro, no live on astro and this new development about keane offered an escape route back to spurs is indeed unsettling... but somehow i feel if ngog is given more chance to play, he might be a hidden gem.. just my two cents worth

Riera is apparently not Kuyt. So, we cant start him in every single games with the mid week game coming soon.Riera gonna start this coming game...Anyway, imo, babel only has raw pace and most of his shooting reminds me of Riise... let riera starts then take him off for babel after 60 minutes |

Redknapp Wants Robbie Keane Back at White Heart Lane?
personally I still dont understand Rafa's desicion to purchase him at an exorbant amount. I think Robbie will leave though. I dont blame him, Liverpool strikers are not getting enough & good service from the midfield department. look at how Torres needs to struggle to dribble the ball passing over defendes. you cant expect good strikers to do that all the time and score goals. wake up Rafa!!!!! -cheers- |

QUOTE(normeck @ Jan 26 2009, 01:57 AM) now we must face Everton at their homeground....we like it hard way isn't? The Anfield advantage didn't really show in both our matches against Everton so I welcome a trip to Goodison. At home their fans will be urging them to attack more so hopefully the game will be more open. |

Not even 10goals in his first season....28years old, at his prime time...20million purchased punya player But when you see his performances at Tottenham, he is just brilliant ! QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jan 27 2009, 05:31 PM) Strikers doesnt dominates all the attacking perspectives...You see, midfielders plays a big role during attacks |
