Benitez should keep Alonso and Agger at least till end season.
Alonso simply one of the best midfield player in the world |

So far whatever has come out regarding Agger look to be rumors. Like you all, I hope they remain just that and will take everything with a pinch of salt until our club officially says something.

Liverpool should put a very very high price tag on Agger IF they wanna sell him to Milan. Milan should have no problem because of 100mil pounds profit on Kaka, if the deal set. But personally, Agger and Skrtel are great young assets, since Carra and Hyypia are old already. My friends and I are calling both young lads 'twin tanks', both are great. So Liv, don't sell them unless there are anyone that can surpass them in the team, which are now none.

Agger left 16/17months in his contract and refused to sign a new one cos his demanded wage was not agreed.I bet rafa dun wan him to leave for free, no?Rumour said Hyypia gonna sign another 12months deal as Agger's future remained unknown. Anyway, we have been linking with a lot of defenders and I really hope agger will stay. Every season we have on free transfer player, looks like this coming summer, we gonna hav heskey back in team.. |

i see agger and skrtel as the future replacement for the aging hyypia and carragher. both are still in the right side of 20s, while hyypia is close to retirement, and carra may only last another 4-5 years.
seriously, i don't really read much about the rumours on ac milan's interest in agger, if they're serious they would've come out with some concrete offer on the table by now, but it's all talk so far. |

Didn't know i flood that much of posts over here. Still nowhere near TS
Anyway i like the idea as this will keep people posting more quality stuff. I am wondering how you accumulate the posts from each of us? Back to the topic on Agger's concern. To be honest he is one of my favourite player in the team but since Skrtel's rising during his absence, it's already selection dilemma for Rafa where he has only 2 starting for 4 great defenders. I hate if he is off to any team, but seeing him rotting on the bench is indeed a torture for me. |

Milan are only take advantage on Agger news on stalled contract talk. And this is bad for the contract talk. His agent will set a higher basic weekly wage because his profile has been upped a notch by Milan interest. Now it's up to Agger-Liv negotiation to decide his future. I bet Rafa still want to keep him especially on Hyypia retirement is around the corner.
So I guess we better be the champion and no one will/want to leave the club, and many great players want to play with us. |
