Booked mine for next Monday.. hehehe. But 1st service only inspection though.. no parts replacements.. so.. doesn't matter also ler...unless got major complaints..

I went this morning, but there were already a lot of people waiting. I asked the SC adviser if I could book a slot for Monday, but he told me I'd need to book one week in advance. Will try to walk in early on Monday and hope I guess.

What are you intending to get inspected for your car?

Good polish can wipe away the swirl marks? IF yes, then i can request a polish from SA. thank you for your advise.  smile.gif

I recommend the same detailer as cryptchid that is Meguiars as they are one of the best in town when it comes to paint detailing. Usually paints that they sprayed on the car that came out of the factory tend to have that "orange peel" effect as you just pointed out. This can be remedied with professional polishing.

Certain things you can get the service center to replace for free or done free on the 1st service.

- Tightening your handbrake
- Paint touchup (if required)
- Complaint about wind noise and have them replace the rubber seal for the doors.
- Check for door rattling noise (common problem with Vios/City)
- Wiper fluid top-up
- Realignment of car wheels (if required)

Those are just common things that can be done, any other problems you've encountered, make sure u get them to do it as well.

The old klang road Honda service center gives very quick and good service, I recommend going there.

You already change to aftermarket rims? you may try RE001

I've ask tyre shop already few days ago for RE001, 205/50/16 can't really fit..into E-Spec rim, it will bulge.

Light ones can be removed.. deep ones will not be so visible... but after that.. black cars.. dont send to road side car wash lor.. wash yourself.. or send to a trusted one that do not wash your whole car using the same towel.. or those that wash your car bottom up.. your car will soon be swirlmarks wonderland.. hahaha

Thank you for your advise, will try to claim it from them.

I have the same swirl marks on my black city too. Very painful to see, so I went to the talk with a detailer (the meguairs taiko) and he told me to tahan the pain a little, and come back after 3 weeks. He said it's to allow the paint to fully cure. So I'm trying (and failing miserably) to ignore the swirls atm.

I just read the press-release on the Peugeot 308, at 96K for the lower variant, value for money.

The higher variant, with a turbocharged engine is only 111K, pretty good value too.

So this is the car Honda was so afraid of (which is why they rushed the December launch for the City)

If i'm not mistaken, old klang road got 2 service centers. Which one is that? One is peringgit, another one opposite the road.
