Why Bellamy? Because Jo ain't exactly worth his 19M price tag, Vassell never managed to reproduce his Villa form, and Elano hasn't been the same player as he was last season. Bellamy can provide some bite in their attack, but for 14M one might question this decision as there might be better players elsewhere. Furthermore West Ham seems to be in some financial crap at the moment so some cash inflow would be welcome over there.

Robinho's acting like a diva now according to soccernet due to the failure to capture Kaka... now do we want someone like this in our team? Having said that, there are rumours about Arshavin refusing to play for Zenit again to force a move, so maybe we aren't in the best position to comment.

Arshavin is already 27, and would probably be first choice for say, 5 years maximum. By then our young wingers eg Nacer, Traore would be around the 24, 25 year old bracket and hence on their way towards their peak. And of course, being able to rotate players around would give our lads the necessary rest whenever required to keep them fresh for the entire campaign.

Speaking of which, I suddenly have an idea for discussion.

Assuming Fabs is fit, which of the following combinations would you guys like to see in CM?

1. Fabs + Denilson
2. Fabs + Diaby
3. Fabs + Song
4. Fabs + Tommy
5. Fabs + Nasri
6. Fabs + someone else (either newcomer or anyone from the reserves)

State your choice and reasons... I've got my preferred one but I'll leave it for later.

i'm wondering why wenger didn't make full use of ramsey. he's a good midfielder and given more playing opportunities, he can get to be as good as cesc...

denilson should be given the same role as cesc i.e. by being able to venture upfront more...that way he can improve.
