rm30?? now im confident you're living in the eastcoasttown-----

linen pants still looks satisfiying,,,but i think the extented tab is a bit shorter----should ask for a 3" straight/rounded corner tab w/ hook-hook/button-hook-hook for closure----

i shall stop commissioning any clothes soon,,,and register myself for a sewing lesson-----

MBT strongly advised against a 3 inch tab. I have small waist.

Shirt looks good. But shoulders look slightly wider, collar needs life support.

Added on May 26, 2010, 6:01 pmJust sent POWer pants back to the maker.

I like this old mystery tailor. He gave me old school pockets. They are so thick and substantial! Even thicker than those used in jeans.
[attachmentid=1595165]
Self-fabric back pockets!

Best of all, he charged me RM30. The seat is little roomy though. I'm going back to him.

Those checks give me eye-pain.

I've also collected mine.

The linen pants are screwed!! It's so translucent that all the seams and even my logos are fokking visible and I don't like the look of it! Not a bit!

FOKFOKFOK. I'll tell MBT to put in some lining.

Added on May 26, 2010, 12:28 pmLokechai, Old Grandmaster Kot and Malutapisangatmau. What do they have in common?

They're all sartorially cussed!

Collar needs stays. Sleeves should be longer. Shoulders shorter.

Also, it is not too late to turn that collar into a buttondown.

The two buttons on the collarband should be 14L, not 16L. Also, the buttons appear unshanked or minimally shanked. The stitches could also be smaller.

Added on May 26, 2010, 10:57 pmJesus Chroist, nobody should shave down there. Nobody.

Mafoofan's Anna Matuozzo shirt appears to be using 16L.

Yes. Those buttons are machine-stitched.

I have a fear of being recognized. People have been stalking me but what makes you want to see my body?

I want to see how those clothes fit their bespeaker. My interest is purely professional.

Those two buttons are 14L.

like the fit, love the crumples/creases,,,,,the collar could be an inspiration for some costumes for sci-fi movies like ultraviolet

What is size27?

S***, MBT refused to line my pants.

Added on May 27, 2010, 1:48 pmGodmj,

How hard would it be to line pants using only hand-stitches? I can't believe I just asked that.

Heck no, I don't care even if I have to rip my cotton shirts and use them as lining. They must be lined.

Actually, Loke-chai is from the North. Sorry. I've been to his town and used his tailor and slept with his sister.

I would also advice against single button cuffs. I have plenty of shirts like that, and the cuffs tend toward being cone-shaped during wear. A double-buttoned cuff remains cylindrical. If simplicity is what you're aiming for, jettison the pocket.

i was just playing,,,,i know where lokechai is fr by the socks he wears---my instinct wil never wrong

---

the cone-shaped effect only happens for shirts w/ gauntlet buttons,,,and if we left them unbutton---

mine will be single cuffs w/ short gauntlet (no buttons) ive lots of shirts made this way

the pocket remained,,,sometimes ill need them to put my testpen---- i can put it in my pants but it will poke my scrotum / arse

-----

i tot you dont iron you own clothes?
