The tailor(not Louis) asked me to bring my fav ready made to show, so that he know what I'm expecting. Anyway, feel like safer to do pants than shirts. I do have high expectation on shirts especially on material and design. Not to say they do not have skills better than those shown by ready-made, but the fabric, design or color matching need professional opinion. I cannot design on my own and tell them what to do or else I'm the designer already. I will go Merlin and see.

Sometimes you will encounter some experience.

I have couple of working clothes with mix cotton material done by RayTailor. It still fit and serve me well.

I also tried a few in Krabi, but strongly not recommended.

Now I find Bangkok is a better place...same requirement I had with Ray, I pay much cheaper, without compromise on material and skills

I have done some custom made suits by Gordon Suits in KL, I can say that the quality and worksmanship is really good. I heard they provided uniforms for HSBC, Louis Vuitton too. Very Reasonable price too as I work as office management.

I have dealt with Gordon Suits before because my business is in KL and Penang. I ordered 20 sets of uniform for my staffs from them. Didn't even cost me much! Amazing worksmanship. My arms are too short and I have tried on may blazers and suits before. I have 2 blazers and one of them have inner lining. Can any tailor shorten the sleeves on these? I live in Penang and would love some recommendations for tailors who are into this kind of alterations. Thanks .

I saw H&M RM149 black color last month. This month already winter i dunno still available or not. Zara is getting pricier.

Altering sleeves can be done by any tailor. 100% can. Unless that coat have working button holes, then maybe its hard to make it look nice.

Now this is quite rare. Most tailors make regular pants only. Denim needs machine that could handle thick fabric. U could ask around. I do think most tailors can do it. But most would not because of the heavy stitching details involved. And also those rivets (which are hard to find) if u ask for them.
