I have bought a slide in collar bar from My Tie shop in Subang Parade (RM25) before. But that was like nearly 10 years ago and the shop is not around there already i think. I do not know if they still have it in other branches.

I'm sure all the sifus here have been buying fabrics both online and locally.

Was wondering, what is the price range for a meter of decent fabric (2 plys) in Malaysia to make shirts? I understand it takes about 2 meters of fabric to make a shirt.

And what is an acceptable price range for workmanship charges to make a shirt?

I made mine locally in KL:

Cloth selection + workmanship: RM200 / piece

Bangkok
Cloth selection + workmanship: RM90 - RM200 / piece

Guangzhou
Cloth selection + workmanship RM 300 / 2 pieces

HI guys, seems like there are alot of sifu-s here.

I'm looking for a tailor that suit me up with something stylish and modern around Subang/petaling areas.

My job requires me to look very presentable and at times requires me to put on my blazer.

My problem is i'm very petite. ready made doesn't fit. Most of my shirt and blazer are tailor made. And i feel that the size doesn't fit very well.

My current budget for my next one will be 1.5k for a 2 piece. It's not alot i understand. Beggers don't get to choose.
Would any kind souls lend a helping hand in recommending a tailor that makes good fitting? thanks in advance

Looking for recommendations for good ebay fabric sellers.

Was looking at British Fabrics but can't find what I want. Most of their mohair mix are solid black. Looking for something dark grey or charcoal.

Funny question... No matter how I look at it... it looks greyish to me. But its stated as navy blue. I'm lost.

A few factors eg the camera effect when taking the photo, monitor screen settings etc may result in the colors looking a bit off.
