Panasonic PY800 Plasma. FullHD. HDMI. Tried HDMI to both receiver and directly to the TV. Same results. No audio, no video
I have 2 other Samsung LCDs but they're somewhere else in the house..Guess if I don't hear anything from Play-asia, I'll move my PS3 to see if I get any display out of them.. but I doubt so.
ar188 : Sure I can let u try on your powderful HTPC . LOL

Welwitchia, is the 24p playback on the PS3 is set to ON? Go to VIDEO SETTINGS, at the BD 1080p 24Hz Output (HDMI) try change the setting to AUTOMATIC.
I think when it's on, PS3 will try to playback all BD video contents at 24Hz even though it's not. Maybe can try it.

It is rare to get bad BD disc but it does happen. BD by design is scratch resistant but just wondering if did you see any scratch on the data side of the BD disc? If it is really a PAL issue, I don't think Play-Asia can do anything.. but they might ask you to send it back for refund or exchange. Maybe you need to send this disc to a buddy of yours who has a BD player or a PS3 and see if it works on their system or not.

I believe I got a faulty disc cause htkaki copy has no problems. No scratches on the disc either. I've passed it to my colleague and he'll try it out on his PS3 tonight.. but in the mean time, I've told Playasia that it won't play on the "multiple" PS3s that I've tried..
