wait wait, interest rate as meaning for the loan? If yes, then how about the people like me that already approved with 3.99%?

can you explain in details?? is it for all the owner? or just the new owner? if just for new owner, not fair ler , i also 3.99

interest rate for proton car r fixed... 7yrs 3.88%.. 9 yrs 3.99%.. but maybe some banks offer less... but a small margin only like 3.85% fr 7 yrs..

Just got the car, no light on the insert key area, windscreen water pump not functioning. Sigh

I cannot contain my excitement! I just collected my car a few hours ago. Right on time for CNY. My greatest ang pow ever!

However, I am a bit disappointed. Why? Because:

1. I also have the intermittent door unlocking problem when I turn off the engine. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. However, I believe if you follow the cycle religiously, it works most of the time. The cycle meaning start car -> close door -> release h/brake to lock -> drive (optional) -> pull h/brake -> turn off engine (not too fast)

2. My rear seat (left side) is stuck. It won't come up. SA told me to get it fixed on first service. Don't be mistaken, not the part that comes down 60:40, it is the part where you rest your a$$ on. It is supposed to come up and rest against the back of the front seat so that the 60:40 part can come down flat.

3. Front passenger window visor flattened. According to SA is manufacturing defect so change on first service.

4. Fuel guzzler. When I collected the car from showroom, the fuel needle was at the last notch (my SA said he pumped RM10). Drove the car back to my house (SS2) from Glenmarie (Subang) and then to Glenmarie again (To send my SA back) then by the time I got into Subang, the fuel indicator light is lit and needle at "e". So went to pump until the nozzle clicked (supposed to be full right? about RM50+). Guess what, the fuel needle never point at "f" but a notch below. Is this normal?

But other than the matters above (biasala, Proton ma), I can say that I am happy with the car. No regrets. Noise insulation is bearable.
Power wise, can't really comment as the engine is still new but low torque is much more drivable although it sounds a bit rough after 3K RPM. Didn't feel the 2800rpm vibration as mentioned in some forums.
Handling feels quite stable and the seats are comfortable. One grouse I have is the butt - its too high! Thankfully for the reverse sensor.
For a 60K car, cannot complain la. What more can I ask for? (Er..maybe a CPS engine...haha.)

when u insert your key to start the engine, the key area got light?

there is no light at the key insert... since when persona got?

OMG, wira also got, persona new one doesn't have? sry, i doesn't know that it don't have.

u r rite mr.dk. persona is sometime underrated. I love driving it. However..like u..me oso notice some problem with sitting. alto some part got sticker for quality check but on sitting is none seen.

Do some break-in ..almost got caught by speedtrap..lucky those police not kibar2 bendera to stop...fush ... lucky new car..hahaha

can wait for sunlite to get hand-on again tmrw..got some long drive back to kampung...

Car loan interest rate is fixed. It doesn't matter bank negara announced reduction in interest rate...so, my advise is put more downpayment if you can afford.

Maybe potential buyer can on hold their purchase first, let's wait for this coming weeks(after CNY). See what Proton response to loan interest rate..no hurry since economic has slump, lead time shouldn't be too long.

I read from MTM forum, Persona brake servo is smaller that caused spongy brake. Gen2 has bigger master brake pump..if it can fit, i think i am going to buy G2 master brake pump and replaced the current 1.
Such a heavy car, 12xxkg with small brake servo..Waalao eh Proton

yup, u can add tht light circle at ur key insertion...

juz go to any acc shop, they can do it for u.. the wiring is there for the light to b installed...

many ppl installed the steel at the inside of the window, so the thief cannot korek2 ur to car to steal it...

but i didnt installed any for my car except the ori alarm

dmn now my reverse sensor spoilt oledi... hav to go to sc to complaint

auto full tank can go around 370km.....highway 60% (80/90km constant) with city drive n jam abit n also rev sumtimes...

after some time, ur car can hav better fc..

mine now 40k mileage oledi can go full 450km, auto summore

wah wah wah dah 40k mileage...... mine 20k only......
