P/S: Last time I went Australia was 5 years ago, I'd be using the same old huge luggage bag to travel this time too. sweat.gif

Hey...your itinerary looks exactly like mine a few years back. Seems you this is the standard package offered by traveling agencies. For those potential goldcoast traveler, this itinerary is suitable for family. I am just surprised you only spend half a day in movieworld. Also, I did not go to waterworld. I went to dreamworld instead.

Apart from the almost everything same with me. I also went to wax museum which I think is a bit too expensive for such a small exhibit.

leaning towards Vibe hotel at the moment. found some good package combination. going to visit just one theme park so wont be getting any saving for that.

i found this http://www.gcshuttle.com.au/sit_gcs_freedom_gold_passes.htm since it cover airport transfer and unlimited bus ride. worth to get or just taxi for airport transfer and Go card for everything else.

i also want to know this, how bro? how much is taxi from airport to surfer's paradise

Hi, im planning for a family trip of 5 with young kids to GC in June.

For flight ticket, ive checked AA will cost ard 1.5k per pax return for direct flight to GC.

MAS flight to brisbane will cost about 2.3k per pax return.

Is this the only option we have? can anyone share other tips to get better flight options/cheaper cost to GC?

Tq

As June is usually peak season due to the school holiday, if there is promo tickets most of them would be snapped up quite early. If you want to get cheap tickets from AA, then it is always advisable to book at least 6 to 8 months in advance especially when they have promotion such as free seats or zero fair.
MAS sometimes will have promotion in conjugation with MATTA fair so be on a look out a few weeks before MATTA Fair cause my colleague bought return tickets to UK for only RM2.5k during Matta fair last year.
